This Emmy win vindicates Leah and Mike, their guests, and A&E for courageously telling the stories of those who have survived Scientology.
There are numerous stories from over the years in which Scientologists have stolen books from public libraries that were critical of Scientology. This was done so that you and I would be not able to read these books. And now this type of abhorrent Scientology censorship has happened again.
Lean Remini was on the cover of People magazine this week. A story making the rounds on social media tells us that marauding Scientologist Marilyn Berdon walked into her neighborhood Target store and saw Leah Remini on the cover of People in the magazine racks at the checkout stands.
Marilyn Berdon was deeply offended. Accordingly, Berdon engaged in an act of Scientology bigotry and censorship.
Scroll down to see the post Berdon made to her fellow Scientologists in which she bragged about what she did to trample on your rights to read whatever you wish to read.
Why did this Scientologist take it upon herself to destroy the rights of the public to read whatever we choose to read? Worse, Berdon encouraged her fellow Scientologists to engage in destroying your civil rights by imposing censorship and acting to destroy publications of which they do not approve. This is yet another reason why Scientology is correctly called a mind control Cult.
And what if the opposite action has occurred? What if a non-Scientologist removed all of the Scientology books from a public library, demanded that the library destroy the books, and then openly boasted about it? Scientologists would scream to high heaven. It is easy to see Scientology’s hypocrisy: A Scientologist feels she has the absolute right to censor what you may read, but you may not censor Scientology in any way whatsoever or you are a hater. Hypocritical Scientologists.
Scientologist and STAND member Tad Reeves released a YouTube video today in which he claimed that Leah Remini’s show was making it so dangerous for Scientologists that he feared for the safety of his family. As Tad has blocked all comments — his video is a “one way flow” where he talks and all of us are supposed to listen — I am replying here at the Scientology Money Project.
First let me say this: Oh please! Give me a break Tad. You’re such a drama queen. Seriously. You’re running what LRH called the “Dangerous Environment Racket” where none exists. I’m not buying your act and I’ll tell you why.
The fact is that if anyone has anything to fear it is from Scientologists. Two innocent people have been murdered in cold blood by Scientologists in the last five years. Dozens of people that I personally know have been Fair Gamed, spied on, stalked, harassed, and intimidated in the past ten years. When we add in Anonymous and many others who have spoken out, the number of people Scientology has practiced Fair Game upon is well above one thousand in the past ten years. So please stop your insufferable victim game. It is truly nauseating.
2011: Scientologist and New OT VIII Rex Fowler shot and killed his business partner Thomas Ciancio at point blank range. Three shots to the head with no mercy. This was premeditated murder Tad. And a Scientology OTVIII pulled the trigger.
After murdering his business partner, OTVIII Rex Fowler turned his 9mm Glock on himself and pulled the trigger. The bullet traversed Fowler’s sinuses and exited is forehead. Rex’s suicide attempt failed and he was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to life in Colorado. Thomas Ciancio had a wife and children Tad.
2012: Scientologist and actor Johnny Lewis murdered his 81 year old landlady Catherine Davis here in Los Feliz where my wife Karen and I live. The 27 year old Lewis bludgeoned his elderly landlady to death and then mutilated her cat for good measure Tad. Scientologist Lewis then jumped, or fell, from the steep hillside garage of his landlady’s home in the dark. Lewis died on impact.
In 2009 Nancy Cartwright’s fiancee OTVIII Steve Brackett killed himself by jumping off the Bixby Bridge in Big Sur. Scientologists were told he died in an automobile accident. OTVIII Ed Bryan was arrested in Florida in 2011 for trespassing.
Scientologist Devon Newman, the PR for Celebrity Centre Las Vegas, was arrested in a bizarre 2013 murder plot to kill a Las Vegas cop:
I could keep going Tad, but you can read more of Scientology’s menacing behavior from article I wrote: The Church of Scientology: A rollicking legacy of belligerence, profanity, paranoia, and violence.
One time when the late Jim Lynch of Freedom Magazine showed up at my home he was escorted by an armed PI. Why did Scientology’s Freedom reporter need an armed bodyguard? I had no weapons and Jim Lynch certainly had nothing to fear from me. I asked Scientology’s PI why he felt he needed a gun to come to my house. Was he planning on shooting me? I also told Jim Lynch and the PI that if David Miscavige had anything to say to me he could come to my house and say it to my face. Otherwise, I would thank David Miscavige to shut up.
And then of course OSA had two PI’s follow COB’s father Ron Miscavige Sr. for two years at a cost of $10,000 per week. When arrested, these PI’s had weapons, a silencer for an assault rifle, ammo, scanners, and fake license plates. This is what COB RTC David Miscavige spends Scientology parishioner dollars on. Is this acceptable to you Tad? Is it moral or ethical for Scientology to send out armed men to spy on and stalk former members of your Church? Here is the assault rifle and the silencer your Church’s PI’s were carrying Tad:
The pen is mightier than the sword Tad. A&E, Leah Remini, Mike Rinder, and their guests are engaging in protected and nonviolent free speech to expose the depravity and evil of the Church of Scientology. If this acts as a wrong item for you Tad then you need to read the US Constitution. No one stopped you from making and releasing your insipid YouTube video.
And by the way, Tad, STAND has phony Stock Photo Scientologists. These “Scientologists” are stock photos. What do you have to say about this social media fraud Tad?
The Church of Scientology is engaging in outright social media fraud to attack Leah Remini and her show Scientology and the Aftermath. Scientology’s so-called STAND league is using stock photos to create fake STAND members to launch social media attacks on Leah Remini, Mike Rinder, A&E, A&E’s sponsors, and the courageous people who appear on Leah’s show. This is a scandal and a disgrace for Scientology.
Using Google reverse imaging technology, the Scientology critic who posts as “Kels” @kellykels_melbs on Twitter found numerous fake STAND members. This is outright fraud.
@kellykels_melbs first posted on June 11, 2017 that STAND member “Alicia Hairdo” was a Scientology bot, i.e. a fake person:
@kellykels_melbs then posted proof that “Alicia Hairdo” was actually a stock photo:
After exposing Alicia Hairdo as a fake, Kels was blocked by the fake Alicia Hairdo. It seems that even imaginary Scientologists practice Disconnection:
Fake STAND member “Alicia Hairdo” is based upon a fictional character named Susannah Fontaine-Williams. “Alicia Hairdo” is not even a real name.
STAND member Alicia Selverson is another fake. Again this image is a stock photo anyone can purchase. Despite this fraud, “Alicia Selverson” has authored many essays at the STAND website!
Fake stock photo Scientologist Alicia Selverson’s Twitter account was suspended after it was reported as being a fake.
Despite the fraud, Selverson’s STAND profile claims that she is a third generation Scientologist, a model, and mother. Impressive for someone who does not actually exist.
Fake STAND member “Eva Band” is actually the Italian model Chiara Ferragni:
Fake STAND member “Ellis Craig” is actually the model Gert Rappenecker:
If you expose fake Scientology STAND members on Twitter then the Scientology Cult blocks you from being able to see all Scientology Twitter accounts.
You will even get blocked by the fake non-existent STAND members as happened when Alicia Hairdo blocked Kells @kellykels_melbs.
The fake Alicia Selverson blocked me from viewing her fake tweets. Scientology’s STAND group is a lie wrapped in a scam and topped with fraud:
Bottom Line: Scientology engaging in social media fraud using tax exempt dollars. Yet another reason for the IRS to revoke Scientology’s tax exemption.
Please sign and share my petition for the IRS to open an investigation into Scientology’s ill-gotten 1993 tax exemption.
Some history of Scientology fraud is in order to show the precedent for this current Scientology STAND fraud.
January 2000: Scientology critic par excellence Arnie Lerma famously caught the Church of Scientology issuing a fake PR photo. Upon close examination, Lerma saw headless Scientologists in a doctored photo. Essentially, it was horrible photoshop fakery used to make the Scientology crowd look bigger than it was. Here is the first photo where Arnie identified an area called image 1:
Arnie enlarged the photo. As he wrote at the time of the image below, “and here is image 1 area, left to right, note people duplicated, note hair drawn on man head below upper square, note “headless” man right hand square, standing next to twin who still has head…”
Headless and duplicate Scientologists in 2000. The Washington Post covered this Scientology fraud.
On its new webpage that hosts Marty Rathbun’s videos attacking Leah Remini, the Scientology Cult is trying to keep Marty at arm’s length by spinning these videos as work Marty did on his own. Thus, the Church embraces Rathbun’s videos even as they attack him in the hate pages it still has up on Marty. This is typical Scientology schizophrenia and overreach.
Left: Image from a Scientology attack page on Marty Rathbun.
Scientology cannot have it both ways. Scientology cannot have current hate pages up on Marty Rathbun attacking him as a violent psychopath, a perjurer, and a man who engaged in obstruction of justice while citing him as a credible source to attack Leah Remini, Alex Gibney, Lawrence Wright, Paul Haggis, and so many other brave and good people who have worked to expose the brutal and evil machinations of the Church of Scientology.
Which story are you sticking with Scientology? Is Marty a credible source or he is a violent psychopath, a liar, and a “cult militia leader” as you are presently representing him to be on your own website? If Marty Rathbun is a violent psychopath, if he is a “conjurer of lies” as Scientology itself has written, then why is the Church of Scientology spending 501(c)3 tax exempt dollars to promote Rathbun’s dishonest psychopathic conjuration of lies that attack Leah Remini and her A&E show?
More breathless prose about Marty Rathbun from Scientology:
Marty Rathbun’s descent into the abyss of insanity was by no means a sudden, over-the-edge plunge. Rather, his was a slow and inexorable slide into the depths of irreversible irrationality.
For years Rathbun managed to keep the madness hidden. Even when the verbal tirades metastasized into violence, the outward signs were subtle. For by then his cleverness had grown all but demonic and what he unleashed was kept isolated and behind closed doors.
But by winter of 2004, the year of his desertion from the Church, he could no longer keep his malady veiled. The cunning was gone, the rage unchecked, and so it was that a whole host of co-workers finally bore witness to what Rathbun had become. That was the evening when all of them shockingly saw, and then promptly stopped, his attempt to kill Mike Rinder with his bare hands.
According to the Cult of Scientology, Marty Rathbun long ago descended into the “abyss of insanity” and yet, suddenly, this violent and insane person is now a credible source on Leah Remini? Sorry, but Marty is simply not a reliable source. The Church of Scientology notes that Marty “blew” or escaped twice in his 27 year career. Marty was recovered by the Church after he had escaped in 1993. Rathbun’s record shows him to be a “flip-flopper” who left the Church and returned. The Book of James, verse 1:8, counsels us as follows:
A double minded man is unstable in all his ways
And so it is of Marty Rathbun. Marty blew the Church for the second time in 2004 and began speaking out against Scientology and its abuses in 2008. Marty participated in high profile exposes of Scientology on television and in film. Marty stopped speaking out in late 2014. His wife shortly thereafter, without explanation, fired her legal team and dropped her lawsuit against Scientology and David Miscavige. Shades of Vickie Aznaran here. Now Rathbun is attacking Leah Remini, Mike Rinder, Amy Scobee, and so many other people who were his friends and helped him. But what can you expect? A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Even as the Church of Scientology wants to use Rathbun as a credible source, there are dozens of Scientology pages on Marty that characterize him as a monster. In this next Scientology attack on Rathbun we read that “Rathbun’s eyes glow with a psychotic gleam.”
Scientologist Bob Pace of Commercial Real Estate Inspectors in Montrose, California is a home inspector. In the course of his professional work, he inspected the home of Leah Remini.
After Leah left the Church and began speaking out against its abuses, Scientology bigot Bob Pace worked with Scientology’s Office of Special Affairs to make a hate video in which he attacked Leah Remini. This is Scientology Fair Game at work, and, it is financed by 501(c) tax exempt dollars. These OSA hate videos are yet another reason why Scientology’s tax exemption must be revoked: US taxpayers should not be forced to subsidize Scientology’s malicious Fair Game.
As reported by Tony Ortega, “Bob Pace describes his encounter with Leah as a home inspector trying to convince her that a hairline crack in the wall of her house is nothing to worry about, and her rude suggestions that he’s wrong about it.” In the Scientology hate video he made, Bob Pace says of Leah Remini:
Hairline cracks are typical, and I said this is a hairline crack and it just needs a minor repair, and then just observe it. She didn’t like that answer. She said, “No that’s a structural crack.” Which kind of took me back. It was a rather forceful communication and not a pleasant one and I said, “This is my profession. This is what I do. That is a hairline crack. That is not a concern.” The volume went up. She got more upset. And I realized at that moment that I’ve, in the ten thousand inspections I’ve dealt with I probably dealt with maybe three people that I would consider to be truly…. I don’t know another word other than insane.
Seriously? Bob Pace publicly attacked a client as insane? That is an egregious breach of professional ethics. Bob Pace is obviously a 1.1 anti-social Suppressive Person.
As far as I can determine from his website, Bob Pace is not a structural engineer. As such, he can only perform noninvasive home inspections. Bob Pace arguing with Leah that a crack was a hairline crack and not structural crack may have violated California Code as it relates to home inspectors:
(a) Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to allow home inspectors who are not registered engineers to perform any analysis of the systems, components, or structural integrity of a dwelling that would constitute the practice of civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering, or to exempt a home inspector from Chapter 3 (commencing with Section 5500), Chapter 7 (commencing with Section 6700), Chapter 9 (commencing with Section 7000), or Chapter 14 (commencing with Section 8500) of Division 3.
Absent having a registered structural engineer perform an inspection of the crack in question, Bob Pace cannot state with any certainty that the crack in question was not structural. What Bob Pace expressed was his opinion and did not reflect the expert analysis of a structural engineer. Furthermore, Bob Pace produced no photographic or other evidence. Therefore his story is both unsubstantiated and unprofessional.
If anything is insane here it is having a home inspector pretend to be an expert in structural engineering.
Due to liability concerns, no reputable construction firm in the world would ever trust a mere home inspector to determine if a crack was a hairline crack or a structural problem — and this is particularly so if the client expresses serious concerns. This is where professionals hire degreed and certified experts.
Please take note of Bob Pace’s utter lack of professionalism. What a real professional would have done to satisfy a client about her serious and legitimate concern would be to bring in a structural engineer. This is Leah’s home and she is concerned about the safety of her family. And yet, true to form, the Scientology hate video attacked Leah rather than focusing on Bob Pace’s lack of professionalism and his failure to bring in a structural engineer to address the client’s concern.
Bob Pace of Commercial Real Estate Inspectors was quite willing to violate professional ethics by invading the privacy of a client in order to attack her in a Scientology hate video. This is appalling conduct and yet it is to be expected of Scientologists as Scientology cult members practice Fair Game against those who publicly expose the human rights abuses, lies, and greed of the Church of Scientology.
This blog post is intended to simply make the public aware of Bob Pace and his willingness to engage in a malicious public character attack against a client who paid him for his services and expected privacy.
Bob Pace owes Leah Remini an apology for his unprofessional and bigoted conduct.
The second episode of Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath aired this evening on A&E. This episode featured Scientology’s former international spokesman Mike Rinder and his wife Christie Collbran.
This episode exposed the sadistic ways in which the Church of Scientology — using tax exempt dollars — stalked, harassed, spied on, and Fair Gamed Mike and Christie. It was shocking to watch. The Church of Scientology is always worse than you think; it really is a malicious organization whose 501(c)3 tax exemption needs to be revoked for cause by the IRS.
To say that tonight’s episode was powerful is an understatement. Leah’s show is tremendous television that reaches deeply and existentially into the Scientology experience and its aftermath.
Mike Rinder has always been very generous in sharing his time and wisdom with the media, critics, and especially those people who have left Scientology. Mike’s blog Something Can Be Done About It is a widely read blog that covers the many things that are going on inside the rapidly collapsing Church of Scientology.
Mike Rinder granted me the first interview I did when I began my Surviving Scientology Radio podcast series. Thanks to Mike Rinder and other former Sea Org members who have so generously, and sometimes so very painfully, shared their experiences of Scientology, my podcast now has more than two million listens across YouTube, iTunes, and my dot.com Surviving Scientology Radio.
Because of the dozens of aggregators who have taken the podcasts that my guests and I have released into the public domain at no cost, I don’t know how many listens the show actually has. What my guests and I care about is that the truth about Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard, and David Miscavige is carried far and wide across the planet.
I have interviewed Mike Rinder several times on my podcast as I value his singular insights. One tradition my podcast has is to interview Mike Rinder at the New Year. In these shows, Mike looks back at Scientology the previous year and offers his predictions on what Scientology will face in the New Year. Mike’s predictions have been spot on.
Mike Rinder’s 2015 New Year’s Eve podcast is a classic and well worth a listen to get a sense of just how incredibly perceptive Mike Rinder is as a strategic thinker and analyst. Thanks for everything you do Mike.
Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath premiers tonight on A&E. Check your local cable guide for air times.
Karen and I salute Leah Remini for her courage in standing up to the Church of Scientology and telling the very human stories of how Scientology’s toxic Disconnection policy destroys families.
Mike Rinder just used Facebook to post this ad A&E ran on the NY Post. Hurricane Leah owns Scientology on social media. It sucks to be David Miscavige and OSA.
