Scientology’s Hollywood Literacy Center for Sale; This is Symptomatic of Scientology’s Failure in Hollywood

Scientology’s Applied Scholastics Center on 6334-6336 Hollywood Blvd is for sale. The asking price is $4.5 million.

Scientology has no need for the center which has been empty for decades with the exception of Staff members.

In the larger picture, Scientology has failed in Hollywood altogether:

The Scientology Test Center has failed due to protesters and a pervasive lack of interest in Scientology by the public. The fact that Streets LA, Jessica Palmadessa, and other livestreamers can shut down the Test Center just by their mere appearance on the public sidewalk shows how powerless Scientology has become. The Test Center is utterly useless.

The Test Center’s one chance to actually disseminate Scientology on a major scale happened during the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020 when more than 20,000 people walked in front of the Test Center. In the photo from Variety (shown below) you can see Scientology’s Test Center and its large blue sign on the right side of the street two blocks away from the speaker. This is how massive the crowd as.

Rather than getting all of Pac Base Sea Org and local publics out to introduce Scientology to 20,000 people during this historic moment, David Miscavige shuttered the Test Center and all other Scientology properties in Hollywood.

Check out our photo-essay on how David Miscavige shut down all Hollywood Orgs and boarded them up. When Dictator Miscavige boarded up the Orgs, it put the lie to Scientology’s claim that “Something Can Be Done About It“. The Sea Org retreated into hiding and ceded the streets to the “wogs” — the very people Scientology claims it is trying to help by bringing them into Scientology.

When things got rough in Hollywood in 2020, David Miscavige boarded up all of the Orgs in the area and had the Sea Org retreat inside. Hiding is very low on Scientology’s Tone Scale. The Test Center failed utterly when it was given a test by reality.

  • PAC Base has been a dysfunctional collection of failed Orgs for many years now. The protesters can livestream from PAC Base at will. Pac Base tried to close down LRH Way for extended periods of time and barricade the street with illegal planter boxes. This failed because PAC Base is a failed concept altogether.

  • Scientology Media Productions is good only for filming videos in which Scientologists kiss David Miscavige’s ass or the making of Fair Game hate videos. SMP is a janky $100 million waste of cash. KCET took David Miscavige to the cleaners when it sold him the dilapidated 90 year old lot and kept the broadcasting license. Miscavige paid $45 million for the property and then spent another >$50 million to rebab the buildings, purchase new equipment, and bring the all of the systems up to code. What did Scientologists get for the $100 million in donations? They got dull and repetitive cult content mixed in with commercials about Scientology. The  hate videos, however, help prove that Scientology is the alter ego of David Miscavige.  X
  • The HGB is OSA HQ and contains an RTC office. The HGB is staffed by the worst, most criminal, and the most violently insane and psychotic Sea Org members. The HGB’s message traffic is likely all intercepted and monitored by various alphabet soup agencies that keep an eye on the Milan Org, CLW, R1 visas, certain SO members, the Cayman Islands, and other items of concern. Scientology is on watchlists for good reasons.

  • The Celebrity Centre became permanently damaged goods as a result of Danny Masterson’s conviction on two charges of forcible rape. The Masterson rape case allowed the world to see that Scientology covered up rapes and other sexual crimes at the Celebrity Centre. Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis seriously damaged their reputations by writing a letter to the Judge in support of their serial rapist friend Danny Masterson.

  • Author Services International has always been irrelevant as L. Ron Hubbard’s turgid works of fiction do not sell and, in fact, cannot even be given away.

  • The bizarre Scientology freak show known as the Industry of Death Museum is an attack on Psychiatry and the field of mental health using 19th century and mid-1950’s images. The work of the disgraced psychiatrist Dr. Thomas Szasz (1920-2012) and L. Ron Hubbard’s hatred of Psychiatry are the ideological basis of the museum.

Szasz, who was paid by Scientology for decades, argued that mental illness does not exist. This made Szasz the Flat Earther of Psychiatry. Szasz was not taken seriously by his peers as he viewed as both a kook and a paid Scientology apologist. L. Ron Hubbard taught “the Psychs” came from the planet Farsec eons ago and were here on Earth in human form to enslave humans using Psychiatry. Hubbard’s answer was auditing body thetans, a treatment with which Szasz never disagreed. Szasz also never objected to Hubbard’s view that Psychiatrists came from a planet in distant galaxy and reincarnated in a successive series of bodies to enslave humans.

  1. You forgot the citizens commission on human rights! This do nothing museum has next to no visitors and the people that go see nothing but a bunch of Scientology kiosks in a row. It does little to destroy the field of psychiatry.

  2. This all said, is added proof, that “new religions” leave empty buildings in their wake, and eventually sell them off. (Realtors thus, long range, ought keep dibs on getting the Scieno reno’d castoff buildings, LOL.)

Second, Scientology is also empty motif just like Christian Science reading rooms, I’ve seen all my life, are a smaller scale always empty. (Hubbard in the Hubbard policies on the “Qual Library” mentions letting the Scieno “org” “Qual Library” being open for the public, which is similar to the Christian Science “reading rooms” which are empty—but Hubbard made the “Qual Library” so deep into the bowels of the Scientology offices, it’s never ever that I know of been allowed to the public access. Like a greenie walking in might have a question, today, the newbie would not even be allowed to get deep into the offices to the “Qual Library.” Maybe an ally religious person might get access, if they requested, is all.)

I did the routing forms project, studied Hubbard’s every rule for everyone’s duties in the Scientology paper pusher offices for signing up and pushing along the newbies to the other offices/class rooms/quack therapy waiting areas, the whole Hubbard mad setup is ridiculously intricate and WAY too much.

The subject is lost in the Hubbard mess of paper pusher offices, and the front groups, all empty, all for supposedly getting this Hubbard quack pseudo-therapy and the Hubbard quack Xenu ghosts exorcism accomplished and to fix earth’s deeped soul problems we all suffer from, and which we need the Hubbard assembly line of the Scientology offices to get us fixed up.

Major overkill cult bureaucracy paper pushing paper-pusher bureaucrats running around these Scientology setups.

And people if they wanted to do the Hubbard quackery, just need to read up on the quackery on the internet, and figure out how to do it on themselves, no need for the Hubbard bloated paper pusher offices where they emply the full Hubbard regulations on the newbies, shackling them into the con.

If you wish to get Scientology’s doors shut fast, just talk Xenu out loud to the staff on the street.

Xenu (pronounced ZEE NEW) if talked to staff of Scientology, they know to retreat.

Xenu word is like garlic to vampires.

That’s Hubbard’s fault, he wrote the rules saying NOT talk about Xenu, NOT define Xenu, etc. It’s taboo.

Best suggested thing to say to Scientology staff:

“Is it true Xenu (ZEE NEW) caused the Wall of Fire?”

(TIP/SECRET: this quoted sentence is a taboo spoiler alert piece of info that is NOT to be told to the staff who mostly don’t now who Xenu is, thus if you simply say “Is it true Xenu caused the Wall of Fire(?) to them enough times, they get the message, they surmise that Xenu is the person who secretly DID cause the Wall of Fire (they are allowed to know particially about the Wall of Fire, so you are doing Scientologists a backhanded favor by implying Xenu did cause the Wall of Fire, since this finally tells them WHO Xenu was! It’s a sort of “SP word clearing” to tell the Scientologists who Xenu was. XENU CAUSED THE WALL OF FIRE. Help the scientologists clear up the word Xenu, tell them the above.)

    Chuck Beatty
ex Scientology cult staffer mostly in the cult bureaucrats training departments in my wasted 27 years in the Scientology quack spiritualism fake religion. It was and still is, totally frustrating not to word clear the Scientologists on who Xenu was, it’d take only seconds to tell them: “I heard Xenu caused the Wall of Fire, and you guys aren’t even allowed to know this? Is that true?”
