In a letter to his first wife Polly Grubb, a letter the Church of Scientology has never disputed, Hubbard told his wife:

You shouldn’t be scrubbing the floor on your hands and knees. Get yourself a n*****; that’s what they’re born for.

The long-gone website Solitary Trees contained the documented history of L. Ron Hubbard’s racism and that of the Church of Scientology. A PDF from Solitary Trees is posted at the bottom of this post and speaks for itself.

We uploaded this PDF to Scribd many years ago; it was removed from Scribd on June 7, 2020 due to a baseless complaint from the Church of Scientology. We had posted it on Scribd for easy downloading by anyone. As Scribd took it down, we reposted it here in 2020 and are now reposting it again in 2025. We do so as there is a wider audience of Scientology watchers who may not be aware of L. Ron Hubbard’s blatant racism. 

We refuse to accept Scientology’s attempts at censorship. What L. Ron Hubbard said is what he said. L. Ron Hubbard was a racist and the evidence is there. 

The Church of Scientology has never denied nor apologized for L. Ron Hubbard’s racism. Scientology has never apologized for its own racism.

Scientology’s infamous Jo’Burg sec check (interrogation) demands that Scientologists answer this question:
