We previously covered Scientology’s hired NYC private investigator Dan Ribacoff and his company International Investigative Group (IIGPI). In that story we showed a text message in which Ribacoff’s PI Yanti “Mike” Greene sent to another IIGPI PI which stated “Word is they (the Church of Scientology) want to kill Leah Remini.
In the text message “mikelwry@aol.com” is one of the many fake names Yanti Mike Greene uses:
Dan Ribacoff, Lisa Ribacoff, Lance Ribacoff, Yanti Mike Greene, and other PI’s from IIGPI are defendants in three related multimillion dollar lawsuits. Ribacoff is accused of swindling a client out of millions of dollars through a fraudulent billing scheme. Yanti Mike Greene is accused of sexually assaulting a female subject he was supposed to be covertly surveilling for Ribacoff’s firm.
This text message Mike Greene sent caused us to look into Scientology’s PI Dan Ribacoff. We quickly learned that Ribacoff was the “celebrity polygrapher” for NBCUniversal’s The Steve Wilkos Show. The format of the Steve Wilkos show is to have guests come on stage and accuse their spouses of marital infidelity and/or spousal abuse; accuse family members of child molestation or physically injuring children; and present other extremely serious allegations. Many of the people who appear on the Steve Wilkos Show are Black.
The accused family member makes denials and protestations of innocence on camera and is then subjected to a series of polygraphs by Dan Ribacoff. Steve Wilkos will read Ribacoff’s polygraph results to the accused and humiliate and damn them if Ribacoff determined they were lying. Below is just one example of how condescending and hostile Dan Ribacoff and Steve Wilkos are towards a Black guest whose whose girlfriend accused him of cheating on her:
Even as Dan Ribacoff presented himself as the crusading moralist with a polygraph on the Steve Wilkos Show, he was sending racist text messages to one of his PI’s. We exposed the story of Ribacoff’s racist text messages on our companion blog Dirty Cops and PI’s.
Below is an example of one of Ribacoff’s text messages. The message was authenticated by Jonathon Carter’s attorney Peter Crusco. In this text message allegedly sent by Dan Ribacoff on February 7, 2018 at 8:26 PM EST is an image containing the following headline: “When you’ve got $9.34 left in your bank account and you have to start practicing being homeless.” Below the headline is an image of a black male adult sitting inside a cardboard box.
DAN RIBACOFF’S RACIST TEXT MESSAGES EXPOSED: THE AFTERMATH
According to an exclusive online article published in the NY Daily News, Jonathan Kyle Carter, 29, of Uniondale, NY, a police officer with the NYPD filed a complaint filed with United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), claiming that the MTA (Metropolitan Transit Authority) uses polygraph tests to “suppress the hiring of African American (Black) police officer candidates.” Carter’s EEOC complaint contained Ribacoff’s racist text messages.
After the online exclusive was published by the Daily News, the MTA canceled all remaining polygraph examinations for new applicants, scheduled to be given by Dan Ribacoff’s company InDepth Polygraphs through early 2022, when his contract with the agency expires.
We reached out three times to NBCUniversal for a comment on Ribacoff’s racist text messages. NBCUniversal has not responded to our requests. However, as the antipolygraph.org website revealed, Dan Ribacoff’s name and photo were removed the Steve Wilkos “team members” website and he was made a nonperson.
The Steve Wilkos Show is controversial. Here is an excerpt from an episode the Steve Wilkos Show in which he attacks a female drug addict as a baby-killer, a whore, and a pig. He then attacks her boyfriend for “sleeping with a crack whore.”
Steve Wilkos, a former Chicago police officer who served in the US Marine Corps, began his television career as the Director of Security on the Jerry Springer Show. After guest-hosting for Springer, NBCUniversal gave Wilkos his own show in 2007. Dan Ribacoff came aboard the Wilkos show in 2010 as the show’s polygrapher.
Dan Ribacoff’s polygraphs became the backbone of the Steve Wilkos Show. Wilkos is known for his volcanic temper. As such, he frequently exhibits abusive behavior towards his guests. This is what NBCUniversal produces, syndicates, and profits from and yet is not willing to comment on when asked. Why the silence Peacock?

Dan was not acting in a racist manner to the male guest on the show. Let’s not lose sight of who was the deceiver here.

Taken together with the authenticated racist text messages Dan Ribacoff sent to his PI’s, the case can be made that Ribacoff’s abusive behavior is motivated by his racism. And to be clear, Ribacoff was a covert racist until he was exposed by his text messages.
If you want to defend this sleazy dirtbag racist polygrapher Dan Ribacoff then what does that say about you? NBCUniversal and the NY MTA severed their relationship with Dan Ribacoff and wanted nothing to do with him. Dan Ribacoff has no one to blame but himself for his serious problems.
What does it say about me? It means that I can separate facts vs emotions. If you’ve seen Dan on the show he’s snarky to every one – yes even the white ones!
You nor I know him IRL and it’s not fair to label someone a racist over 2 things that if you just read the transcript and didn’t see who was he talking to, you wouldn’t be able to tell if the guest was black or white.

The fact is that NBCUniversal senior management removed Dan Ribacoff from the Steve Wilkos show after the NY Daily News story on Dan Ribacoff’s racist text messages he sent his PI’s.
The fact is that the NY MTA cancelled all polygraphs with Dan Ribacoff’s firm after the NBY Daily News story on Ribacoff’s racist text messages was published.
That Dan Ribacoff is a racist has been established by his text messages. The larger question: How did Dan Ribacoff’s racism systematically bias the polygraph tests he performed for the NY MTA or on the Steve Wilkos show? How many Black and Hispanic job candidates lost jobs at the MTA because the Ribacoff firm InDepth Polygraphs falsely claimed these candidates failed the polygraph exam?

Steve Wilkos has never said anything about his racist polygrapher pal Dan Ribacoff because he is a coward. Wilkos knows that to acknowledge this ugly racist truth would destroy his show and tarnish his own reputation and so he has to hide it.
The big man Steve Wilkos is actually a scared little man who lawyered up. NBCUNIVERSAL is complicit in this as well and swept it under the rug.
