Scientologist and Actor Danny Masterson Charged with Three Counts of Rape

As is being reported by numerous media outlets, Los Angeles District Attorney today charged Scientologist and actor Danny Masterson with three counts of rape. From The Hollywood Reporter’s coverage:

The That ’70s Show star was charged with three counts of rape by force or fear. The case was filed for warrant Tuesday, according to the district attorney’s office. Masterson was arrested Wednesday at 11:30 a.m., according to jail records. His bond was set at $3.3 million. He bonded out at 2:44 p.m. according to jail records. 

The criminal charges against Danny Masterson are a vindication of Leah Remini’s show Scientology and the Aftermath. Leah Remini, Mike Rinder, and everyone at Scientology and the Aftermath courageously stood up for Masterson’s victims and aired their story despite the many threats from the Church of Scientology and Masterson’s lawyers.
