
The US SEC has denied Scientologist Joe Cecala’s Chicago-based Dream Exchange application to become a securities exchange.
The SEC rejection was made during the course of an ongoing investigation into Cecala diverting investor funds to the Church of Scientology and its related corporations including David Miscavige’s slush fund known as the IAS.
Joe Cecala, a White male, claims that Dream Exchange’s purpose would be “Breaking the Cycle of Structural Oppression in Capital Markets” as shown at the firm’s website:

However, when Cecala, a White male, is alleged by insiders to have diverted investor funds to the 99% all-White Church of Scientology, then this created the perception that Cecala was using Black people to enrich both himself and Scientology.

This, in turn, causes us to ask if Joe Cecala is a Noble Cause Narcissist:
Noble cause narcissism is a phenomenon where a person pursues a cause or goal in a way that is self-serving, using the “noble cause” to gain admiration, status, or a sense of superiority, while masking a profound lack of empathy for others affected by their actions. It involves a grandiose self-importance and belief that one’s own mission is uniquely important, often at the expense of the needs and feelings of others.
