Scientology Hit With Class Action Lawsuit for Violating US Privacy Law

Warning: Scientology content on Facebook is secretly coded with a code snippet called Meta pixel. Scientology gives confidential user data to Facebook according to this new lawsuit. And yes, Stanley Clarke is a Scientologist and has been one for decades. 


The Church of Scientology has been hit with a US Federal class action lawsuit for violating the Video Privacy Protection Act (“VPPA”).

Christopher Brown wrote of the suit at Bloomberg Law

The Church of Scientology International shared the video-viewing histories of visitors to its website with Meta Platforms Inc. in violation of the Video Privacy Protection Act, a proposed federal class action said.

The suit is the latest in a wave of litigation against providers of video content challenging their use of online tracking tools provided by third-party software companies including Meta, Google LLC, and TikTok Inc.

Lead plaintiff Heidi Fenton alleged that the Church of Scientology installed the Meta pixel—a snippet of computer code allowing the tech company to collect information arising from visitors’ interactions with the site….

  1. Soak the cult. Well, best would be return the ill gotten donations lured into Scientology’s accounts, but if not, then return the funds to society in various ways.

    That is the correct “Exchange by Dynamics” for Scientology to outflow their ill begotten funds.
