Scientology’s infamous disaster-chasing Volunteer Ministers are alleged to have stolen a substantial quantity of disaster relief supplies from a staging location at the Santa Anita racetrack in Southern California. These supplies were intended for victims of the massive Eaton fire.
We believe the report based upon the history of Scientology’s Volunteer Ministers. The “VM’s” as they are called, are notorious for showing up at the scene of a disaster with their camera crew. The VM’s then head to the front of the disaster supply line and proceed to hand out supplies donated by others while their camera crews take photos and videos for use in Scientology PR. This tactic creates the appearance that the VM’s paid for and furnished the emergency supplies.
To the best of our knowledge, and this is based on our extensive interviews over the years with former Scientologists, the VM’s never actually pay for any emergency supplies because Scientology is greedy and instead takes whatever it can get for free. For example, although the Cult has billions of dollars, its various Orgs and front groups borrowed $10 million in pandemic-era PPP loans. These groups then filed for and received loan forgiveness. This legal theft typifies Scientology’s willingness to take funds intended for companies that were actually impacted by the pandemic. Indeed, Scientology boarded up its Orgs in Los Angeles during the pandemic. Our photo essay of the boarded-up Orgs proves it did not need PPP loans as its Orgs were shuttered.
Like the Sea Org, Scientology’s Volunteer Ministers do not actually exist. What the VM’s actually are is a registered wordmark owned by Scientology’s Religious Technology Center:

Because Captain David Miscavige controls the Religious Technology Center and its license, he effectively controls the Volunteer Ministers via its licensure to RTC. Therefore, Captain Miscavige is ultimately accountable for thefts of emergency supplies by his Volunteer Ministers.
We publicly call upon Captain David Miscavige to publicly apologize for the VM thefts; to replace all stolen items; and to make a donation to the Red Cross to atone for the behavior of his Volunteer Ministers.
Captain David Miscavige just had his Sea Org and Scientology publics don Volunteer Ministers shirts and line up on LRH Way for PR photos. This photo was taken from inside Scientology’s ASHO Org:

As a former Scientologist and former VM, I traveled to New York, Louisiana and wild fires in California. I witnessed the degeneration of the group. We were constantly summoned to provide videos of our work. All for PR.
What a photo of all those yellow monsters!
Hubbard orders the movement staffers to commit untold idiotic things, which the shrinking Scientology workforce desperately tries futilely to still do.
Xenu on all of them!
