Contrary to online reports, The Wrap has just reported that the historic Muppets Studio is not being sold to the Church of Scientology.
The Jim Henson Company’s studio lot on La Brea Avenue will not be sold to the Church of Scientology, the estate of the famed puppeteer confirmed Saturday.
“In regards to recent rumors about the sale of the La Brea studio lot, the Henson family is not in any business dealings with the Church of Scientology, and that organization is not in consideration as a potential buyer of the property,” the estate said in a statement….

Good news. Now I hold my breath that Scientology doesn’t surreptitiously longer range somehow get this property. Scientology’s got Hubbard’s nastiest of irrational justifications pushing Scientology to do the most steadfast nasty irrational things, despite “all their failures.
Alarming to me, is the total amount of condemnatory solidly plain as day events that really have happened, that show the Hubbard worst ideas just keep on keeping on.
Hubbard’s irrational lying hype pushes the trapped and constrained membership and “leaders” of Scientology to do awful thing, and now with all the accumulated wealth official Scientology has suckered out of the rich dupe whales that have donated unfortunately huge sums to Scientology.
And with the “slave labor” or IRS label to it, “religious worker” lowest of the low income brackets for the Sea Org staffers, whose “pay” or “allowance” is on par with Catholic nuns and monks who similarly are in the “religious worker” tax bracket which is the dismal 1-3 thousand dollars a year income bracket in the USA.
Scientology is crippled by the Hubbard regulations keeping this multi echelon cult bureaucracy which operates on the framework that the Catholic church has blazed the trail, so that Scientology now legally rips of their “religious workers” to vow of poverty wage scale lives, but they pretend to be normal (and most of them coming from middle to upper middle class “norms” lives), so they blend in.
It’s just an all around subject, Scientology, NOT to ever walk into Scientology organizations thinking one will get the time to be rational still.
