We also discuss US v. Majeed which is part of the UNOI case. In this document, which is posted below the US DoJ press release, are a series of pretrial orders by the court which, we think, are extremely useful in filing lawsuits against the Church of Scientology for labor trafficking, duress, threats, isolation, and harm and particularly where minors are concerned. This is a technical legal document but is well worth studying or giving it to attorneys.

That part of the First Amendment definately needs to be re-amended in a thoughtful way because if congress can’t even INFRINGE upon my right to practice my religion, then if I joined a religion that told me that I should commit murder under some circumstances then I could get away with murder. So, IMHO that line in the First Amendment needs to be more thoughtfully expressed to conform with our country’s culture and true values.
