Scientologist and criminal defendant David Gentile and his co-defendant Jeffry Schneider — whose US Federal criminal trial begins June 10 in Brooklyn — have used these two legal tactics in pretrial motions:
1. “We relied upon our lawyers for advice and therefore everything we did was approved and so must be legal.”
2. “We issued a subpoena against the witnesses against us! They have to give us all their e-mails, tax returns, and everything else concerning GPB Capital Holdings!”
Gentile and Schneider recently filed a third pretrial motion asking the court to dismiss the entire case against them. They cite the Government’s failure to “disclose substantial Brady Material and Violations of Rule 5(f) Orders“:

The Filing (Document 283):
The Second Filing (Document 283-1) is so heavily redacted as to be incomprehensible:
Declaration of Laura Zell, an associate with Jeffry Schneider’s criminal defense firm of ArentFox Schiff LLP

This latest filing makes perfect sense….. to all narcissists everywhere.
I wonder if lame clients, like Gentile side, are being additionally hoodwinked by their lawyers filing lame “dismissal” filings?
I mean is this just a dumb client being taken advantage even some more by a slightly brighter lawyer filing loser filings?
Sounds like it.
(People with anti the government/anti IRS/anti following rules they don’t understand (and think it’s our govt officials’ fault for these rules they don’t understand), aren’t these people also game for buying the Scientology scam exorcism charade where in Scientology these “high level” Scientologists buy into the Xenu R6 implanted body-thetans exorcism to fix their human problems! People who buy Xenu’s body-thetans exorcism, are kind of ripe for being too dumb or foolish to follow the laws, plus when they get lawyers, even their lawyers take a bite of their ingrained ignorance!)
Hail Xenu’s body-thetans shower on all the duped OT 8 business executive Scientologists!
If your boss buys Xenu’s body-thetans exorcism and is an OT 8, well, be careful and maybe offer some sane advice to them so things don’t go off the rails.
I guess if exorcism of Xenu’s body-thetans is just a person’s hobby, I guess that’s sort of fine. I’d hate to see my boss gouged by IAS and Flag all the time to the detriment to the business.
(I’d minimally tell my Scientology boss to run his personal finances like LRH says “orgs” are to run their finances, and NEVER spend more than you make. Never go into hock or spend all the profits on Scientology related stuff, to the business’s detriment.)
Even if you think of the Scientology OT 3, 4,5, 6 and 7 exorcism as a hobby, that’s a very expensive time consuming hobby, of questionable return.
