UPDATE ON THIS PODCAST: A Federal Judge overturned certain of California’s Gun Laws relating to assault rifles in October 2023. These were new laws that had gone into effect in January 2023. California AG Rob Bonta has vowed to fight this to the US Supreme Court. Accordingly, certain of Augustine’s remarks on the transfer of AR-15’s in California pertain to laws in effect before they were overturned October 2023.
