Danny Masterson Convicted on Rape Charges

From Our Archives: Danny Masterson’s Scientology Success Story

Danny Masterson was publicly confessing even back then:

I always had to have my own way – and not in a good sense.

Danny Masterson was also lying about Scientology:

I have to say that one of the most important things Scientology has given me is the ability to keep my integrity together. I understand how people can get in to unethical situations, and Scientology has always helped me keep my head clear and be in present time. I have been able to see situations for what they are.

  1. His success story is laughable:)
Scientology turned him into a rapist and criminal. What a “success story”!

  2. Maybe…If it didn’t literally “turn him into a rapist and a criminal”, the cult’s practices and culture certainly accentuated, enabled, and even rewarded whatever criminal tendencies he had. Nah, on second thought…I think you are right: his celebrity and money and blind loyalty to scientology made him a so-called “upstat” and opinion leader in the group, while his crude misogyny and serial drugging and raping of women was covered up. He and the cult gaslighted, mocked, abused, and harassed his victims.
His “success story” makes complete sense from the perspective of a gleeful, unrepentant sociopath; a mirroring of the cult’s founder and, finally, the real “EP” of his “technology”.
