Mitch Brisker and Jeffrey Augustine interview ex-Scientologist and actor Larry Anderson.
When he was in Scientology, Larry was personally selected by Church leader David Miscavige to be the lead in the film “Orientation.”
The treatment for the film was written by L. Ron Hubbard and it was Director Mitch Brisker’s task to get it onto film. David Miscavige personally supervised every detail of the film and worked very closely with Mitch doing so.
In the film, Larry walks viewers through a Scientology Org, talks to various Sea Org members, and describes why Scientology is a religion.
The climax of the film occurs when Larry utters the infamous words that you can choose not to join Scientology — and you also jump off a bridge or blow your brains out. The film is required viewing before anyone can do any services the Church of Scientology.
The Orientation film is required viewing before anyone can do any services the Church of Scientology.
After watching the Orientation film, any person wishing to continue on in Scientology must sign a contract attesting that they have watched the film and affirming that they understand Scientology is a religion.
The Orientation film contract is shown below.

Unprecedented, thankyou so much Larry Anderson and Mitch Brisker.
Historically always relevant what you have laid out here.
The content, the ideas, of Scientology, were what I came “aboard” this Hubbard ship of fools, to gain.
There is much disappointment in what Scientology brings to everyone’s lives on the contrary to what L. Ron Hubbard falsely promises.
—————————–
Scientologists can’t even discuss Xenu’s R6 implanted body-thetans and the OT 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 exorcism/soul-freeing “advanced” steps of Sceintology among themselves.
Words like even Xenu are taboo, and body-thetans also taboo to discuss.
How can anyone “sign up” and sign legally binding “release” legal forms if they really cannot even yet determine if they believe the “religion” they are joining is even a “religion?”
Incredibly important interview and by the two key persons on the “Orientation Film.”

Scientology has been off the rails since Dianetics, and there’s a huge relevant saying in life:
you can’t make a silk purse out of sow’s ear
And Hubbard was all promises, no delivery, and he sticks the responsibility for the non delivery of the spiritual goodies he promises on the dupe followers.
Followers of Scientology beware!
Scientology/Hubbard will misuse lawyers and legal agreements with the Scientology followers to prevent lawsuits.
Shame on all Scientology’s “release” and “legal agreement” writing lawyers who protect this Hubbard scam.
There someday ought to be a “Lawyers Who Wrote The Legal Agreements For Imprisoning Scientologists With Responsibility For the Scientology Quackery Not Working Hall of Fame,” and list out these lawyers for posterity.
And Jeffrey, you truly are so much appreciated for dissecting things for a couple decades now, you are truly one of the all time best critics ever.
“The Worst Religious Legal Agreements Ever In Religion’s History”. Scientology’s “legal agreements” win that competition.
Jeffrey, you truly to me are the top amateur critic of Scientology.
I hope for the world’s benefit, your site here somehow remains viewable long into the decades in the future. (Same for all the other sites too, there is just so much material which excellently gives documents and exposes Scientology.)
——————————-
I hated signing the “legal agreements” and even the Scientology books have ridiculous legal statements in the front page plates of each of the Hubbard Scientology books!
It is truly sickening that a “religion” would “cover its ass” with lawyer legal agreements!
Thankyou so much Jeffrey for all your decade or two of critical content on Scientology.
Your critical coverage in detail of Scientology needs be preserved, maybe you compile a book, and somehow get it online for posterity, please.
