Scientology Operative Exploiting the “National Association of Commissions for Women” to Attack Leah Remini’s Show Scientology and the Aftermath

The red arrow points to Scientology Operative Taryn Teutsch who attended the recent NACW 2018 conference in Los Angeles. Taryn is now using photos from the conference on Twitter to imply that NACW supports her baseless Fair Game attacks against her father Mike Rinder.

Taryn Teutsch, a member of Scientology’s Sea Org, is exploiting the prestigious National Association of Commissions for Women (NACW) in an attempt to gain legitimacy for her attacks against Leah Remini’s Emmy-winning A&E show Scientology and the Aftermath.

The goal of Scientology operative Teutsch is to get her father Mike Rinder fired from Leah Remini’s show. Mike was the third-highest ranking official in Scientology for three decades before he escaped and began speaking out. Mike’s expertise gained from serving in Scientology at the highest levels is a key part of what makes Leah’s show incredibly powerful, accurate, and insightful.

Taryn is attempting to get her father fired by promoting an old and thoroughly discredited narrative of domestic violence (1). Taryn shared this manufactured narrative with unwitting NACW attendees as her photographer snapped photos. Taryn then posted these photos on Twitter in a way that implies NACW endorsement:

More of Taryn’s photos with unwitting attendees were posted on Twitter to imply NACW endorsement:

TARYN TEUTSCH — REPEAT OFFENDER:

GRETCHEN CARLSON & THE YWCA OF GREATER LOS ANGELES

Scientology operative Teutsch used the exact same tactics when she attended the YWCA of Greater Los Angeles “Phenomenal Woman” award ceremony earlier this year. Teutsch had her photo taken with honorees including Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey and Gretchen Carlson. Teutsch then used these photos on her blog and on Twitter to imply that Lacey and Carlson endorsed and approved of her attacks against her father.

Scientology operative Teutsch with Gretchen Carlson:

Jen Hanson Gruber, one of our readers who is absolutely not afraid of Scientology, informed Gretchen Carlson that her name and image had been misappropriated by an operative of the Church of Scientology. Jen also sent the official police reports and other documents to show that Taryn was lying:

Gretchen Carlson texted back to ask how she could her photo taken down from Taryn’s Twitter page:

Scientology operative Teutsch also used the YWCA GLA event to have her photo taken with Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey:

We contacted the YWCA of Greater Los Angeles and they issued a statement distancing themselves from Scientology and Taryn Teutsch.

Scientology operative Teutsch also targeted the Leila Grace Foundation:

Taryn Teutsch spoke at the Leila Grace Foundation. This foundation is a, “is a non-profit organization that provides sexual assault awareness for college students across the country. It’s main focus is to provide education, which can reduce the risk of sexual assaults on college campuses.” Taryn’s eight year old “fake news” story has nothing to do with rape or sexual assault. Why did Taryn exploit the Leila Grace Foundation?

The Church of Scientology’s goal is to infiltrate women’s groups using Taryn Teutsch’s manufactured and false narrative in order to, ultimately, stop Leah Remini’s show. That Scientology would use such treacherous and underhanded means to accomplish its ends is nothing new.

While Scientology seeks to exploit women’s groups, it is instructive to note that L. Ron Hubbard’s wife Mary Sue Hubbard went to prison for crimes her husband ordered in Operation Snow White. Hubbard himself went into hiding after the FBI raid and remained an unindicted co-conspirator.
Likewise, Scientology leader David Miscavige’s wife Shelly Miscavige has been locked away for at least twelve years. The most dangerous job in Scientology is being the wife of the leader.

For more information on how Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard viewed women, please read:

Scientology TV, Taryn Teutsch, and L. Ron Hubbard’s Disgusting View of Women

Teutsch’s conduct in spinning a web of lies about her father is consistent with Scientology’s decades-long pattern of lying to destroy those people whom it deems enemies. Indeed, after the journalist Paulette Cooper wrote a book which was critical of Scientology, the Church succeeded in getting Cooper charged for making a bomb threat. When the FBI later raided Scientology facilities, the records obtained showed that Scientology had orchestrated the entire affair. The charges against Paulette Cooper were dropped and Scientology had to pay Paulette Cooper what we imagine was a substantial legal settlement.

Leah Remini’s response to Scientology’s many vitriolic attacks on her is easily summed up in this short video clip:

MIKE RINDER

Mike Rinder was born into a Scientology family. He joined the Sea Org as a teenager and worked as a messenger for L. Ron Hubbard aboard the Apollo, the vessel Hubbard called his flagship. Mike rose through the ranks and eventually became the third highest ranking official in the Church of Scientology.

When Mike escaped from Scientology and began speaking out publicly against Scientology leader David Miscavige’s culture of violence, lies, and greed he was declared a Suppressive Person and became a target of Scientology’s doctrine of Fair Game. Essentially, Scientology Fair Game is designed to utterly destroy a person. As L. Ron Hubbard wrote:

Hubbard’s call to destroy those people deemed to be enemies of Scientology explain Taryn Teutsch’s actions and conduct.

Scientology and Taryn Teutsch will cynically exploit anyone and any group in their ruthless pursuit to destroy those who speak out and expose Scientology.

We are not afraid.

Scientologists Stacy Francis and Joy Villa Pretend to Be Evangelical Christians

Scientology’s Damage Control Team: L-R: Stacy Francis, Taryn Teutsch, Joy Villa

As season 3 of Leah Remini’s Emmy winning show Scientology and the Aftermath approaches, David Miscavige and the Church of Scientology have gone into an apoplectic foaming-at-the-mouth hysteria of rage. This rage betrays the intense fear of exposure at the core of Scientology.

A Message from Leah Remini to Scientology Operatives

In response to the upcoming third season of Leah Remini’s show, Scientology’s Office of Special Affairs has conducted an erratic and schizophrenic damage control campaign that is quite transparent.

Even as OSA wages a malicious campaign of Fair Game against Leah Remini, Mike Rinder, and the brave guests who appear on Leah’s show, OSA has also fielded Scientology operatives Joy Villa and Stacy Francis in an attempt to convince Christian Evangelicals that people can be both Christians and Scientologists.

Scientologists Joy Villa and Stacy Francis have promoted themselves as ardent Christians and Donald Trump supporters in what appears to be a desperate attempt to pander to the Trump Administration. Given that Scientology’s long-time Washington D.C. lobbyist Greg Mitchell is involved behind the scenes, we consider that OSA is orchestrating this in a frantic hope of staving off an inevitable IRS investigation into Scientology’s tax exemption.

From our perspective, Stacy Francis and Joy Villa are trying to “safepoint” Scientology in Washington D.C. However, when one contrasts this with the 1990’s and 2000’s when Scientology was able to deploy John Travolta and Tom Cruise to D.C. to influence President Clinton and the Bush 43 Administration, it becomes apparent that OSA is scraping the bottom of the barrel with Villa and Francis.

LOVE YOUR ENEMIES

One of the central contradictions with Scientologists pretending to be Christians is that Jesus commanded his followers to love their enemies. We read the words of Jesus in Luke 6:27-36:

But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you.

Christ’s commandment that Christians are to love their enemies is directly antithetical to L. Ron Hubbard’s incredibly violent policy of Fair Game in which he calls for the literal bodily injury and destruction, or death, of Scientology’s enemies:

“ENEMY SP Order. Fair game. May be deprived of property or injured by any means by any Scientologist without any discipline of the Scientologist. May be tricked, sued or lied to or destroyed.”- L. Ron Hubbard, Hubbard Communications Office Policy Letter, 18 October 1967

Joy Villa and Stacy Francis have never publicly disavowed L. Ron Hubbard’s Fair Game doctrine. This fact alone puts the lie to their claims to be Christian.

Scientology wants to portray itself as religious even as it continues to savagely attack those it deems enemies. Scientology’s three main actors in its recent psychotic soap opera are Scientologists Stacy Francis, Taryn Teutsch, and Joy Villa.

JOY VILLA & STACY FRANCIS

Scientologist Stacy Francis singing at Ralph Reed’s Faith & Freedom “Road to Majority” event in June 2018. Along with her fellow Scientologist Joy Villa, Stacy Francis also passed herself off as a Trump supporter and a Christian at this event.

Joy Villa and Stacy Francis showed up last month at Faith and Freedom Coalition’s “Road to Majority” event. We covered this in a previous article, Ralph Reed, the Faith & Freedom Coalition, and Scientology. Despite her claims to be a Christian, when Stacy Francis appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017 she showed her true colors:

That Ralph Reed and his people were taken in by these two Scientology charlatans who claimed to be Christians is not surprising: Villa has been taking advantage of the trust of Evangelicals for the past eighteen months. Villa has falsely claimed to Evangelicals that Scientology is merely a set of self-help tools. She has also said that a person can be both a Christian and a Scientologist. However, this is demonstrably false from a biblical perspective. See our essay: Why You Can’t be a Christian and a Scientologist.

SCIENTOLOGY & THE NATION OF ISLAM

Scientology’s efforts to position itself as a Christian-friendly organization is completely exposed as a lie given Scientology’s partnership with the anti-Semitic Nation of Islam. Louis Farrakhan’s account was decertified by Twitter for his recent incendiary tweet and video in which he railed against the Jews:

We note that the Church of Scientology never publicly censured nor rebuked Mr. Farrakhan for his incendiary anti-Semitic tweet. We are therefore forced to conclude that the Church of Scientology condones Mr. Farrakhan’s anti-Semitism and that of the Nation of Islam. To this point, Stacy Francis certainly appears to have no problem with Mr. Farrakhan’s views and seems quite fond of him as can be seen in this photo taken at a Scientology event:

Scientologists Stacy Francis, Alfreddie Johnson, and Louis Farrakhan

Long-time Farrakhan supporter Congressman Danny Davis (D) of Illinois recently took the extraordinary step of publicly disavowing Farrakhan’s anti-Semitism. Congressman Davis issued a statement on his official Congressional webpage in which he unequivocally stated, “I reject, condemn and oppose Minister Farrakhan’s views and remarks regarding the Jewish people and the Jewish religion.”

That Scientology leader David Miscavige refuses to make a comparable statement shows the Scientology leader’s apparent tolerance of, or even agreement with, Farrakhan’s anti-Semitism. David Miscavige has long claimed to be a “global ecclesiastical leader” and yet shows no moral leadership whatsoever on this issue.

Joy Villa and Stacy Francis claim to be enthusiastic supporters of President Trump. However, Mr. Trump has unequivocally stated his support for Israel and the Jewish people. Given the President’s position here, it would seem incumbent upon Joy Villa and Stacy Francis to fall in line with the President’s position, and particularly as they claim to be Republicans and Evangelical Christians, and publicly condemn the anti-Semitism of Mr. Farrakhan.

TARYN TEUTSCH

Over against Scientology’s incursions into pro-Trump Evangelical Christian circles, Scientology has been engaged in an absolutely hellbent non-Christian Fair Game campaign against Mike Rinder.

The Scientology Money Project has been reporting on OSA operative and Sea Org member Taryn Teutsch and her malicious Fair Game attacks against her father Mike Rinder. We exposed Taryn’s outright lies in a series of articles, the most damning of which was The Paramedics Report on Cathy Bernardini: Why Taryn Teutsch’s Fair Game Attack on Mike Rinder Falls Apart.

As we documented, Taryn Teutsch outrageously tried to link her sleazy Fair Game campaign to the #MeToo movement. This is an utter disgrace and a deep insult to the women who are the actual victims of sexual harassment and rape.

We must point out that this attempt to link Taryn’s Fair to Game attacks to the #MeToo movement was ordered by none other than Scientology Cult boss David Miscavige — the man who has kept his own wife Shelly Miscavige locked away in a high security Scientology facility for over ten years.

Below are links to our continuing coverage of Taryn Teutsch and Scientology’s Fair Game attacks on Mike Rinder. We plan to continue our coverage of this Scientology Fair Game campaign in order to document the exact conduct of Scientology.

Leila.Grace.Foundation.1

Taryn Teutsch spoke at the Leila Grace Foundation. This foundation is a, “is a non-profit organization that provides sexual assault awareness for college students across the country. It’s main focus is to provide education, which can reduce the risk of sexual assaults on college campuses.” Taryn’s eight year old “fake news Fair Game story” has nothing to do with rape or sexual assault. Why is Taryn trying to exploit the Leila Grace Foundation?

Scientology leader David Miscavige spent $100 million dollars and took seven years to launch Scientology TV. Miscavige boasted that his pricey television network would serve as the Church of Scientology’s “uncorrupted communication line to the billions.”

Despite having Scientology TV at his command, David Miscavige has kept Mike Rinder’s daughter Taryn Teutsch off the $100 million network.

Why?

If Taryn Teutsch’s story is so important then why isn’t David Miscavige giving it prime time repeat coverage on Scientology TV? Aren’t such stories the reason why the $100 million network exists?

David Miscavige has his reasons for demoting Taryn’s story to wog social media and paying click farms so that Taryn can have thousands of fake followers. Miscavige knows that Taryn’s
stale old fabricated story about her father assaulting her mother is bogus. Per the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office report, the events Taryn claims to have happened never actually happened. The Sheriff’s Office said there was no crime, no victim, and only “incidental contact” was made as Mike Rinder attempted to extricate himself while surrounded by a mob of hysterical, angry, and screaming Scientologists.

You can hear Cathy Bernardini, daughter Taryn Teutsch, and the other angry Scientologists  profanely screaming at Mike Rinder on this audio recorded by John Sweeney who worked as a journalist for the BBC from 2001 to 2014. Mike and John were talking on the phone when the April 2010 ambush went down. Cathy Bernardini repeatedly drops the F bomb:

Mike Rinder retreated from the parking lot into the doctor’s office where his girlfriend (and now his wife) Christie Collbran was. The angry Scientology mob tried to follow him into the doctor’s office and the police had to be called. It can all be heard on the Sweeney recording. This tape puts the lie to Taryn Teutsch and Cathy Bernardini’s account. They were both part of the Scientology lynch mob that ambushed Mike. Taryn never shares this audio when she speaks to women’s groups.

Scientology TV would never dare broadcast this recording. To this point, if David Miscavige wanted Taryn’s malicious fantasy told all he need do is order Scientology TV to produce a series of episodes and then air it 24/7 to the billions of people he claims his network can reach. However, as Taryn’s Fair Game narrative about her father is fake news unsupported by the facts, David Miscavige has to keep Scientology TV unsullied by Taryn. This leaves Taryn to press her attack in the social media.

What is heinous in Taryn’s Teutsch’s conduct — and that of the Church of Scientology — is that Taryn is peddling her fabricated story to groups that are concerned with either helping women who are the survivors of rape and sexual harassment or the prevention of rape and sexual harassment through education. Taryn’s fabricated story has nothing to do with rape or sexual assault. So why is Taryn shamelessly exploiting these groups?

L. Ron Hubbard and Rape Culture

Tony Ortega today published a story today in which Christie’s is auctioning off two letters written by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard in 1948. In one of the letters Hubbard writes of the “treatment” he gave to a group of women:

“I went to work and got me a flock of ambulant lunatics from a matrimonial bureau and began to work on them,” he writes. “Six out of ten unfrigidized and went practically nympho and I had a hound’s time trying to undo the over-compensation and normalize it.”

Hubbard brags that he “unfrigidized” women and turned them into veritable nymphomaniacs even as Taryn Teutsch is speaking at the Leila Grace Foundation, a rape prevention group. But it gets worse as Ortega notes:

We’re reminded of another letter Hubbard wrote at about this time, a 1949 letter to another close friend and Hubbard’s literary agent, Forrest Ackerman. Hubbard told “Forrie” that with dianetics…

“…you can rape women without their knowing it, communicate suicide messages to your enemies as they sleep, sell the Arroyo Seco parkway to the mayor for cash, evolve the best way of protecting or destroying communism, and other handy house hold hints. If you go crazy, remember you were warned.”

Taryn Teutsch attempts to weave a fabricated narrative of spousal abuse against the backdrop of L. Ron Hubbard’s heinous rapine boasting to his literary agent Forrest Ackerman that Dianetics will allow men to, “rape women without their knowing it.” And it gets even worse. As covered by Tony Ortega, L. Ron Hubbard wrote a shocking passage in which he excuses male pedophile behavior and blames the child victim:

There are two axioms about mind function with which the auditor should be familiar…The first axiom is of interest to the auditor in his work because with it he can clearly establish whether or not he is confronting a rational reaction. The seven-year-old girl who shudders because a man kisses her is not computing; she is reacting to an engram since at seven she should see nothing wrong in a kiss, not even a passionate one. There must have been an earlier experience, possibly prenatal, which made men or kissing very bad.

Hubbard wrote that a seven year old girl should not react to being passionately kissed by an adult male. Taryn Teutsch ignores Hubbard’s shocking and inexcusable writings about raping women and men passionately kissing seven year old girls — and she ignores it while peddling her fake story at women’s centers that seek to prevent rape and sexual harassment.

In his notorious Admissions, Hubbard wrote of women:

Your own pleasure is not dependent on the woman’s. You are interested only in your own sexual pleasure. If she gets any that is all right but not vital. Many women are not capable of pleasure in sex and anything adverse they say or do has no effect whatever upon your pleasure. Their bodies thrill you. If they repel you, it merely means they themselves are too frigid or prudish to be bothered with. They are unimportant in bed except as they thrill you. Your sexual power is magnificent and they know it. If they are afraid of it, that is their loss. You are not affected by it.

You have no fear if they conceive. What if they do? You do not care. Pour it into them and let fate decide.

The slipperier they are the more you enjoy it because it means their mucous is running madly with pleasure.

There is nothing wrong in the sex act. Nothing any woman may say can change your opinion. You are a master. You are as sensitive and sexy as Pan. Lord help women when you begin to fondle them. You are master of their bodies, master of their souls as you may consciously wish. You have no karma to pay for these acts. You cannot now accumulate karma for you are a master adept.

(Scroll down to the bottom of this page to read Hubbard’s Admissions in PDF form)

Scientologist Taryn Teutsch is attempting to identify herself with rape prevention and sexual harassment prevention groups. She does this even as the founder of Scientology was a demented misogynist whose dehumanization of women and girls as sexual objects is proven by his own words. Hubbard’s Admissions contain his view of women and have long been exposed online. Who do Taryn and OSA think they’re fooling?

In a further attempt to legitimatize her breathtaking hypocrisy and social media fraud, Taryn Teutsch has even posted photos of herself with distinguished women such as Gretchen Carlson and Fox LA’s Christine Devine who did not know their names and images would be used in a Scientology Fair Game smear campaign ultimately aimed at destroying Mike Rinder and Leah Remini for their efforts to expose Scientology.

When informed that her name and image had been misappropriated by an agent of the Church of Scientology, Gretchen Carlson’s response was to ask how to get her picture taken down from Taryn’s Twitter account:

Predictably, the LAPD — an agency that is suspiciously far too friendly with the Church of Scientology — is only too happy to lend its name and command officers to Taryn Teutsch’s smear campaign. The LAPD is always there for Scientology:

Scientology Sea Org Member Taryn Teutsch Engaging in Fake News to Attack Leah Remini’s Show & Her Father Mike Rinder

Why is Scientology Sea org member Taryn Teutsch standing next to Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey at the recent YWCA GLA awards event? Lacey’s office is investigating multiple sexual assault allegations against Scientologist Danny Masterson. Taryn posted the photo on her twitter page alongside her attacks on her father Mike Rinder and Leah Remini’s show Scientology and the Aftermath.

Taryn Teutsch is a Scientology Sea Org member and the daughter of Mike Rinder. Taryn’s recent tweets suggest that she appears to be the front woman in an OSA operation designed to get her father fired from Leah Remini’s show Scientology and the Aftermath. This would not be the first time Scientology’s psycho-terrorist Office of Special Affairs tried to get Mike Rinder fired from a job. Read the story of what OSA did to Robert Almblad for giving Mike a job selling a new clean ice technology. Taryn never mentions this in her fake news.

Taryn Teutsch’s strategy is very transparent: She has recently appeared at women’s events. At one of the events she falsely portrayed her father as a man who assaulted her mother. Taryn’s mother is Sea Org member Cathy Bernardini. On her blog and tweets, Taryn asks Disney CEO Bob Iger to fire her father Mike from Leah’s show due to assaulting her mother. But that’s only part of the story. Taryn’s larger goal is to follow her boss’ David Miscavige’s orders and help get Leah Remini’s show taken off the air. Taryn’s real goal — as is that of Scientology — is censorship. Scientology’s demands its free speech while viciously attacking those who use their free speech to expose Scientology’s many evils including the use of child labor.

Taryn’s role is that of an aggrieved daughter. However, what Taryn is lying about, what she is withholding as she spins her Scientology treachery, is the actual story of an ill-conceived and poorly-executed OSA operation in 2010 that she herself participated in. Taryn hopes that people of goodwill — in many cases women who are themselves victims of rape — will take her wholly deceitful account at face value and not search online for the actual details or the police report. Taryn seems to be cynically playing on the sympathies of sexual assault and harassment victims in yet another sleazy Scientology Fair Game operation.

Here’s what really happened: Mike Rinder escaped from Scientology in 2007 with nothing but the clothes on his back and began a new life. He was publicly speaking out against the human rights abuses of the Church of Scientology and exposing Scientology brutal and sadistic leader David Miscavige. Scientology began a vicious campaign of Fair Game against Mike that has not let up for twelve years now.

In 2010, Mike Rinder took his then fiancee, and now his wife, Christie Collbran to the doctor for a nutritional consultation. Christie did these consultations on a routine basis. While Christie was inside the doctor’s office, Mike stayed in the parking lot to enjoy the beautiful Florida weather. He was standing next his SUV making phone calls. Suddenly, Mike found himself in a parking lot surrounded by a veritable lynch mob of angry Scientologists and their private investigators. The lynch mob included his ex-wife Cathy and his daughter Taryn. Mike picks up the story at his blog:

Cathy (my ex-wife); Taryn, my daughter; 4 senior church executives (Jenny Linson, Guillaume Lesevre, David Bloomberg and Sue Wilhere) — all from Los Angeles; along with my brother, Andrew who lives in Australia were despatched by David Miscavige to “confront me” in the parking lot of a doctor’s office in Clearwater, Florida.

I did not approach them or seek them out in any way.

Two PI’s followed me to the doctor’s office, along with these 7 people. They rolled in in 3 cars. To a parking lot not visible from the main road, in fact a considerable distance down a private road and at the back of a suite of doctor offices.  With the 2 PI’s observing from a distance, all 7 of them descended on me as I was talking on the phone waiting for my now wife who was at the doctor. I was aimlessly walking around in the parking lot while engaged in a phone conversation.

You will note that I asked that the police be called. Not my ex-wife claiming an assault.  The Pinellas Count Sheriffs interviewed the people who did not run away (the 2 PI’s, Jenny Linson, Guillaume Lesevre and Dave Bloomberg literally jumped in cars and fled the scene as soon as 911 was called and before the Sheriffs arrived) at the time of the so-called assault and they concluded these people had followed me and that the grazes on Cathy’s arm were “incidental contact” as I was trying to walk away from her and the others who had flown thousands of miles to seek me out. In fact, they issued a Trespass Warning on my ex-wife and the others as a result of this incident. But of course none of this information appears in the church “Dead Agent” material.

It’s all there in the Sheriff’s report Mike posted at his blog:

The Sheriff said there was “incidental contact” only as Mike was trying to get away from an angry group of people. The case was summarily closed. What we actually have is an eight year old event that Taryn Teutsch is spinning into a web of lies in a classic Scientology Fair Game campaign against her father Mike Rinder and Leah Remini’s show. This disgraceful conduct is to be expected from Scientology — but it gets worse.

In her latest Fair Game foray, Taryn ran in front of the cameras and tried to hijack Denim Day 2018 here in Los Angeles and turn the event into a propaganda attack on her father. Taryn is seen below standing behind the “Justice4Mom” banner holding her #FireMikeRinder sign.

The photo Taryn posted at her hyperventilating blog makes it appear that the entire Denim Day event was all about her. This leads us to ask what Denim Day is actually about; here is the official statement from Denim Day’s website:

For the past 19 years, Peace Over Violence has run its Denim Day campaign on a Wednesday in April in honor of Sexual Violence Awareness Month. The campaign was originally triggered by a ruling by the Italian Supreme Court where a rape conviction was overturned because the justices felt that since the victim was wearing tight jeans she must have helped her rapist remove her jeans, thereby implying consent. The following day, the women in the Italian Parliament came to work wearing jeans in solidarity with the victim. Peace Over Violence developed the Denim Day campaign in response to this case and the activism surrounding it. Since then, wearing jeans on Denim Day has become a symbol of protest against erroneous and destructive attitudes about sexual assault. In this rape prevention education campaign we ask community members, elected officials, businesses and students to make a social statement with their fashion by wearing jeans on this day as a visible means of protest against the misconceptions that surround sexual assault. — DenimDay.Org

Denim Day is a 19 year old movement whose goal is the prevention of sexual assaults against women. The Church of Scientology has absolutely nothing to do with Denim Day. However, in this year’s Denim Day event in Los Angeles, Scientology Sea Org member Taryn Teutsch injected herself and Scientology into Denim Day. Taryn disgracefully ignored the victims of sexual assault to whom Denim Day is designed to draw attention and support. Taryn turned Denim Day into another dishonest Scientology attack against those who speak out. Disgusting conduct.

This is not the first time Taryn has attacked her father. She has previously written letters to ABC 20/20 and Deadline Hollywood complaining about her father. Taryn also had made several hate videos about her father that are awash in the same lies she is still peddling. There was no domestic abuse Taryn; there was only “incidental contact” when you and your mother and fellow Scientologists ambushed your father in a parking lot. Tell the truth Taryn! And for the record: Leah Remini’s show offered to interview Cathy Bernardini, Taryn, and her brother Benjamin on camera. All three declined through their lawyer.

Memo to Taryn Teutsch: The real abuser in Scientology is David Miscavige. The real victim is his wife Shelly Miscavige who has not been seen in public for twelve years. Taryn, if you cared for the well-being of women you would ask David Miscavige why he locked away his wife. You would ask if Shelly was okay. Have you done this?

In this next photo we see Taryn hogging the camera again with her giant sign as she attempts to hijack Denim Day on behalf of Scientology:

******
In the tweet that appears at the opening of this article we see Taryn Teutsch tagging #ywca_gla. This is the YWCA chapter of Los Angeles. Stealing a page from fellow Scientologist Joy Villa’s playbook, Taryn is now, apparently, networking at women’s events. In the space of two weeks  Taryn appeared at Denim Day and then the YWCA event. Taryn appears to be positioning herself as a woman’s rights activist. This is bizarre when we consider the fact that Scientology is a Master Race group that calls humans “homo saps” and “wogs.” Scientology has no regard for human rights whatsoever and uses four unconscionable contracts in which Scientologists sign away their legal and civil rights

In my opinion, there may well be a ploy at work: Scientology is using Taryn Teutsch to infiltrate women’s groups in an covert effort to attack Mike Rinder and Leah Remini’s show. One of Scientology’s main tactics is to infiltrate groups of all kinds. The other tactic Scientology uses is called “safe-pointing.” In this tactic, Scientology spreads love and money around to influence various organizations. Scientology’s favorite is the LAPD, a police department that seems to be in bed with Scientology:

Taryn may be multitasking and engaging in both Fair Game and safe-pointing as it suits David Miscavige’s needs on any given day.

In Taryn’s next tweet from the recent YWCA Phenomenal Women event in Los Angeles she is seen hugging Denim Day/Peace Over Violence Director Patti Giggans; does Mr. Giggans realize Taryn is a Scientology Sea Org member on a mission that seeks to ultimately destroy her own father and Leah Remini’s television show by use of a demonstrably false narrative?

I wrote to Denim Day and asked for a response to this matter of Taryn using her blog and photos to co-opt the real meaning and purpose of Denim Day; Denim Day has not responded as of this writing.

Taryn Teutsch can try to spin an eight year old event to fit her fake Cult narrative, but the Sheriff’s report says otherwise — and Leah’s show is entering its third season.

SHERIFF REPORT DR inciden.Mike.Rinder

Criminality and the Church of Scientology

James Kirchick’s recent op-ed in the Los Angeles Times asks, “In the world of religious tax exemptions, does Scientology measure up?”

Kirchick incisively cuts right to the bone:

Today, America’s recognition of Scientology as a religion stands as an anomaly in the Western world, the result not of impartial jurisprudence but of harassment. Four years ago, France’s highest court upheld a fraud conviction against the church, ruling that, “Far from being a violation of freedom of religion, as this American organization contends, this decision lifts the veil on the illegal and highly detrimental practices.”

Kirchick is quite correct in taking the matter of Scientology directly to the matter of criminality. Since it’s inception in 1954, the Church of Scientology has at all times operated as a criminal organization. A straightforward historical reading of L. Ron Hubbard and Scientology’s machinations, plans, and designs will bear this out. Fair Game. The Guardian’s Office. Conspiracy. Domestic espionage. Tax evasion. Infiltration. Theft. Spying. Blackmail. Coercion. Money laundering. OSA. Phony front groups. Private investigators. Forced interrogations. Beatings. Agents provocateurs. Hacking computers. It’s all there. Scientology is a classic criminal organization.

The FBI raid of July 8, 1977 on Scientology was massive; over 150 agents participated. The raid was the direct result of L. Ron Hubbard’s Program Snow White. A demonstration of Scientology’s criminality writ large, Program Snow White brought Mary Sue Hubbard to ruination:

The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has raided Scientology Orgs numerous times. From the Moscow Times of June 7, 2017:

The headquarters of the Church of Scientology in St. Petersburg has been raided by Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) on June 6 according to the MediaZona news site. The security services accused the Church of extremism, inciting hatred, and operating an illegal business.

Hungary

Hungarian Police during the raid of Scientology’s Budapest Headquarters.

On October 22,2017 — a scant three weeks ago — The Daily Mail reported on the massive raid of Scientology made by Hungarian police:

Hungarian police carried out a search at a Church of Scientology centre in Budapest amid a probe into suspected misuse of personal information and ‘other crimes’.

More than 50 officers surrounded the church’s Budapest headquarters on one of the Hungarian capital’s busiest roads early on Wednesday.

Detectives from the National Investigation Bureau have listed the target as ‘unknown persons’ – a common designation when a specific suspect has not been identified.

In terms of comparison, 156 FBI agents participated in the raid of Scientology’s Los Angeles complex, such was the sheer volume of documents Scientology had stolen from the US government. For Hungary to send in more than 50 police officers to raid Scientology offices there indicates the seriousness and scope of the criminal investigation.

Cover Ups of Rapes and Child Sexual Abuse

The criminality of Scientology extends to the cover ups of rape and child sexual abuse. At this writing, Scientologist Danny Masterson is alleged to have committed four rapes that were covered up by the Church.

The Los Angeles Police Department & The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office

Scientology’s hideous reputation has tainted the Los Angeles Police Department as well as the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. People are asking why the case against Danny Masterson is not moving forward despite “overwhelming evidence” as reported by the Huffington Post. Netflix has even come in for criticism as it has not stopped production of its series The Ranch in which Masterson stars. As reported by the Los Angeles Times:

A woman who previously accused actor Danny Masterson of rape — an allegation he has denied — has gone on the record to criticize Netflix for continuing with his show “The Ranch” even as it has severed ties with Kevin Spacey and Louis C.K. after allegations of sexual misconduct.

“For me, what Netflix has done feels like a continuation of how the Church of Scientology made me feel when I reported my rape to them, as well as how Danny Masterson made me feel when I would beg him for an apology, an explanation, anything,” Chrissie Carnell Bixler told the Daily Beast. “I was made to feel unimportant. I was made to feel like I didn’t matter.”

Leah Remini’s Emmy award winning A&E show Scientology and the Aftermath has given courage to many of Scientology’s victims who were in the shadows. Terrified of incurring Scientology’s vengeance for speaking out, these people are no longer afraid. Even as the mask is being ripped off the sexual abuse and culture of cover-ups in Hollywood and Washington D.C., the same is happening to Scientology. The predators are being named and called out.

Revoke Scientology’s Tax Exemption Now

The Church of Scientology is able to ply its evil trade only because its ill-gotten 1993 IRS tax exemption. According to Doug Frantz’s seminal 1997 article in the New York Times
Scientology’s Puzzling Journey From Tax Rebel to Tax Exempt it appears that then IRS Commissioner Fred Goldberg unfairly rigged the examination in favor of Scientology. As Frantz noted in his article:

Scientology entities were required to submit new applications for exemption, which were to be evaluated by the agency’s exempt organizations division. But something unusual occurred there, too.

Mr. Schoenfeld, the negotiations chairman, ordered the two tax analysts assigned to the review not to consider any substantive matters, according to I.R.S. memorandums and records in the Tax Analysts case. Those issues, Mr. Schoenfeld informed them, had been resolved…

Both analysts, Donna Moore and Terrell M. Berkovsky, wrote memorandums specifying that they had been instructed not to address issues like whether the church was engaged in too much commercial activity or whether its activities provided undue private benefit to its leaders.

IRS tax analysts were forbidden from considering substantive matters. Why did Commissioner Goldberg give such an order? This seems to be a serious violation of IRS rules. Did Commissioner Goldberg violate the US Constitution he was sworn to uphold?

As the 9th Circuit Court noted in Sklar v. Commissioner, the IRS expressed an unconstitutional denominational preference for Scientology by granting it tax exemption:

The Supreme Court has developed a framework for determining whether a statute grants an unconstitutional denominational preference. Under that test, articulated in Larson v. Valente, 456 U.S. 228, 246-47, 102 S.Ct. 1673, 72 L.Ed.2d 33 (1982), the first inquiry is whether or not the law facially discriminates amongst religions. The second inquiry, should it be found that the law does so discriminate, is whether or not, applying strict scrutiny, that discrimination is justified by a compelling governmental interest. Applying this test to the policy of the IRS towards the Church of Scientology, the initial inquiry must be whether the policy facially discriminates amongst religions. Clearly it does, as this tax deduction is available only to members of the Church of Scientology…

Because the facial preference for the Church of Scientology embodied in the IRS’s policy regarding its members cannot be justified by a compelling governmental interest, we would, if required to decide the case on the ground urged by the Sklars, first determine that the IRS policy constitutes an unconstitutional denominational preference under Larson, 456 U.S. at 230, 102 S.Ct. 1673.

It is time for acting IRS Commissioner David Kautter and Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin to jointly call for an investigation into Scientology’s tax exemption. Scientology engaged in fraud and misrepresented material facts to the IRS to gain its tax exemption. The 9th Circuit opined in Sklar that the IRS granting Scientology tax exemption constituted an unconstitutional denominational preference.

Since gaining tax exemption Scientology has continued to engage in violations of public policy, bad faith, lies, and psycho-terrorism all funded by tax exempt dollars. This is an outrage. The illegality doctrine clearly applies in the case of the Church of Scientology:

Why Did the Church of Scientology Give $65,000 to a Hospital in England?

By Dr. Jeff Wasel

The BBC News published an article this week about a wholly uncharacteristic act of Scientology generosity. Written by John Sweeney, the article discussed Scientology UK’s £50,000 donation to The East Grinstead National Health Service Trust, specifically to the Queen Victoria Hospital. This donation is about $65,650 USD at current rates.

There article described the debate about the propriety of a National Health Service (NHS) Trust accepting a donation from the controversial Church of Scientology:

Mr Lamb said his “particular concern” was about the impact of the [Scientology] church’s “activities on people’s mental health”.

“Their secrecy and their refusal to be challenged or questioned is deeply disturbing.

“I hope that the Secretary of State and Simon Stevens as chief executive of NHS England make clear straight away that it is not appropriate to accept donations.

“It’s a sign of the intense pressure that the NHS is under that this trust decided to reverse its policy of not accepting donations.”

Scientology’s generous donation piqued my curiosity. National Health Service (NHS) Trusts are the primary health care management scheme used to regionalize all facets of healthcare delivery in the United Kingdom. It is thought that the regionalization of delivery allows for a more uniform quality of care and consistent outcomes while providing for better economies of scale in the cost, delivery, and maintenance of patient care in a particular locale.

NHS Trusts are the frontline of healthcare management and delivery in the UK; their importance cannot be understated. Working with General Practitioners, or what are called family doctors or “GP’s” in the US, NHS Trusts allocate treatment, purchase localized healthcare services, and manage palliative care including all forms of therapy, diagnostics, substance abuse treatment, in-home care, pre and post-natal care, and ambulance services to name but a few. Within this context, Scientology’s donation becomes even more of interest and raises significant questions. For example, certain Trusts specialize in specific types of care and therapies. In this particular case, Queen Victoria Hospital is renowned for its reconstructive surgery and burn care. Why did Scientology chose a hospital with these particular specialties?

With Scientology’s doctrine of exchange in mind, wherein your are required to receive “like for like” as it were, what’s the quid pro quo here? This donation had to have been authorized by David Miscavige, which then raises questions of a strategic and ongoing operational nature. Then we have the specifics of the treatment competencies of the Queen Victoria Hospital to consider, as well as how these competencies may or may not conform to Scientology’s modus operandi on the whole.

The immediate quid pro quo suggests the classic Scientology PR gambit called safepointing in which Scientology’s PR is enhanced by virtue of what, on the surface at least, appears to be a generous charitable donation to an NHS Trust hospital.

However, the UK National Health Service Trust also oversees the delivery of counseling, psychiatric services and psychotropic drugs; indeed drugs of all sorts that L. Ron Hubbard deemed antithetical to the very nature and purpose of Scientology. This begs the question: How could Scientology, which is dedicated to the complete annihilation of psychiatry and the prescribing of psychiatric medications, give $65,000 USD to a medical trust that actively delivers psychiatric services and medications to its patients?

Given this incongruity, an argument can be made that Scientology’s donation is a cynical means of buying Scientology access to the NHS Trust’s mid to high-level administrators — and they are legion in top-heavy bureaucracy of the NHS. This would be no different than Scientology in Los Angeles donating heavily to the LAPD in order to safepoint the Church. Indeed, Scientology’s long and suspect relationship with LAPD has caused many to ask if this is why the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office has “slow rolled” the sexual assault investigation into actor and Scientologist Danny Masterson.

Queen Victoria Hospital could be viewed as a gateway into the overall NHS technology procurement system, providing Scientology operatives further access to the administrators who manage and operate the entire healthcare portfolio of the NHS on a UK national basis. Using this access would allow Scientology to pitch it’s WISE & ABLE businesses and services to the national UK healthcare system.

Specifically, the East Grinstead NHS Trust certainly does not enjoy the cash reserves that, for instance, the Guys and St Thomas NHS Trusts in London do. Additional service offerings provided by Scientology’s secular groups such could be construed as useful and therefore of potential interest to the East Grinstead NHS Trust.

Then there’s the tax ramifications of the donation for Scientology as well, given that Scientology does not enjoy charitable status in the UK. If Scientology’s income is as depressed in St. Hill as it is elsewhere in the church, the donation to Queen Victoria Hospital would prove significant in mitigating St. Hill’s 2017 HMRC tax obligations. These are the simplest explanations for the church’s otherwise inexplicable and sudden generosity. Yet there may be more afoot.

Leah Remini’s A&E show Scientology and the Aftermath has reached a significant new audience across many demographics. In doing so, Leah’s show has made millions of people fully aware of the Scientology’s history of egregious conduct in the United States.

If Scientology is to survive, then, it must seek new markets outside of the US and revitalize its non-US Orgs that are currently on life-support. With the opening of the new Dublin and Birmingham Scientology Orgs, it’s clear the church still considers the UK & Ireland viable sources of new members.

However, is the Church of Scientology truly seeking new members, or does this large cash donation indicate that an alternative initiative is underway? This would be an initiative aimed at alliance-building for the many business interests of Scientology’s high net-worth members who now provide a disproportionate amount of donations, and thus much-needed operating income for the Church.

Among critics, journalists, and other interested parties that scrutinize the Church of Scientology, a variety of “end-state” scenarios are beginning to emerge, one of which has the Church primarily existing for the benefit of its high net worth individuals colloquially referred to as “the whales.”

If one considers Scientology’s $1.5 billion cash fund known as the International Association of Scientologists (IAS) as a sort of internal hedge fund for both Scientology management and the whales, such a possibility may indeed prove to be the case.

So how does Scientology’s donation to an NHS trust fit into this emerging scenario?

A recent article on the Scientology Money Project, highlighted what appears to be a curious series of transactions in which Scientologist Matt Feshbach’s stem cell medical venture in the Bahamas was sold and resold in a very short period of time to three sequential entities without explanation. As originally conceived, Feshbach’s company Okyanos was focused upon the use of adult stem cells extracted from adipose tissue to repair cardiovascular decay.

Queen Victoria Hospital specializes in burn treatments and reconstructive surgery, a significant component of which involves the use of a variety of cell regeneration technologies, using stem cells and other organic matter, that could potentially be obtained using techniques similar to those touted by Fesbach’s Okyanos venture.

While this may be coincidental, I would argue this may be the first example of a new Miscavige strategy, whereby St. Hill, or other large orgs, are used as a localized business development vehicle for various whale enterprises, or even the church’s own for-profit companies.

In this scenario, the donation to Queen Victoria Hospital can be reconceptualized as an initial tranche of cash that represents a seed investment. In this example, the Scientology cash opens a door into the many procurement vehicles within the NHS Trust system.

The proximity of Queen Victoria Hospital to Scientology’s St. Hill base allows for an appropriate Miscavige-level of micro-management for the duration of this exercise in covert investment under the guise of a donation.

It would stand to reason we may see similar efforts in Taiwan, Russia, and other Scientology beachheads, that also harbor untapped entrepreneurial opportunities. It’s important to remember, that both Dublin and Birmingham are located in areas already receptive to emerging technology and subsidized investment, and possess a highly educated, technology savvy workforce.

At a macro level, such a strategy is in keeping with Scientology’s demonstrated tactic of infiltration on multiple fronts, in this case, using WISE or ABLE-centric businesses as the means of dissemination, rather than the usual, increasingly counter-productive, org-centric, one-on-one recruitment model. Rather than this labor-intensive and often times, less-than successful effort, cash donations provide a deliberate, highly targeted, highly visible means of obtaining a desired outcome.

Aside from what this donation may imply, specifically, a novel means for David Miscavige to court opportunities for his cartel of whales, it also represents yet another significant deviance from long-held doctrinal and practical operational tenants, resembling the unprecedented attempt to silence Leah Remini’s Emmy award-winning Aftermath show via an Internet-sourced petition.

Furthermore, in deliberately ignoring these and other core tenets, such as lambasting all things psychiatric, or asserting that the mainstream mental health establishment is intrinsically devoted to destroying Scientology, the Church of Scientology may indeed be demonstrating a deliberate acquiescence to a new reality: The need to evolve in a post-“Aftermath” age or die.

Significantly, we may be witnessing the first indication of a newly emerging, two-tier church operational model, with the IAS and it’s whales as the church’s preferred public face; and the other, a faceless one, wherein the remaining staff and Sea Org toil on in further obscurity, slowly withering on the vine, becoming nothing more than custodians for an empire of dormant real estate. This new development may well be the first harbinger of Scientology’s end game, so stay tuned.

Hysterical Scientology Cult Plays Victim Once Again. Wall Street Journal Assists in the Psychodrama.

DM.Dictator

Even as Scientology has the explicitly stated goals to destroy Psychiatry, take over the world, and conduct a genocide against 2.5% of the global population, the militant Hollywood-based Cult is once again playing victim.

This time, Scientology’s bogus “STAND” group — a group populated by several fake Scientologists who are actually nothing more than phony names and stock photos — is demanding that sponsors boycott Leah Remini’s Emmy-winning show Scientology and the Aftermath.

A recent Wall Street Journal article covering Scientology’s call for a boycott is shockingly sloppy. Without bothering to substantiate even one of Scientology’s claims, WSJ columnist  Alexandra Bruell uncritically quoted this bit of Scientology hysteria:

“Leah Remini’s hate campaign of religious bigotry in its first season alone generated more than 400 incidents of harassment, threats of violence and vandalism against our churches and members,” reads one letter from STAND, dated from August and addressed to Geico’s assistant vice president of marketing Bill Brower. “The threat level has again risen, precisely coincident with A&E’s promotion and airing of the second season of this show, now spawning even more threats—bombings, murder and acts of physical violence.”

Alexandra Bruell apparently couldn’t be bothered to ask for even one shred of hard evidence from Scientology in the form of police reports, threatening e-mails, or any other substantiating proof. Instead, Bruell simply repeated Scientology’s claim. This sort of lazy journalism is highly offensive to the victims of Scientology and serves only to tarnish the reputation of the Wall Street Journal. I actually wondered how this unvetted story got by WSJ editors.

In 2009, Scientology complained to the “Freedom of Religion and Belief in the 21st Century Project” that is was being persecuted. While never disclosing its ties to this so-called Commission, Scientology nevertheless made the same cookie-cutter complaints about Anonymous that it is now making about A&E’s Scientology and the Aftermath:

Since January 2008, the Church of Scientology has been subjected to a continuing campaign of violence and abuse from a hate group calling themselves ‘Anonymous’. This entity has been described as a group of “cyber terrorists” as its actions have previously focused on Internet harassment and other crimes. However, in the last 13 months they have also (i.e. as well as their internet based assaults) committed acts of harassment and criminal offences “in real life” against the Church, its members and Church property. Anonymous members have made numerous bomb threats, arson threats and committed acts of vandalism against Scientology churches. They have made harassing phone calls, sent vulgar and threatening faxes and e-mails, painted graffiti, posted threats on the Internet and publicly threatened to kill Scientologists engaged in religious services.

Scientology offered no evidence in its 2009 allegations and it is offering no evidence now. No Scientology churches have been bombed and no Scientologists have been murdered. This is all phony posturing to which Scientology resorts whenever it feels the heat of being exposed for its depravity.

We hasten to point out that Scientology now has hundreds of hate websites and webpages up on Leah Remini, Mike Rinder, and everyone else who has spoken out on Leah’s show. Even as Scientology spews all manner of hatred, calumny, slander, and viciousness it paints itself as a victim. This hypocritical and loathsome behavior is yet another reason Scientology is correctly called a Cult.

Those of us who are long-term Scientology critics have seen this sort of Scientology hysteria and bloviating before. As mentioned, the phony Scientology 2008 soap opera about being persecuted by Anonymous is being replayed in 2017. This time Scientology is the victim of Leah Remini and her guests.

The 2008 hysterics began early on when Scientology launched a barrage of stories in which it claimed to have received anthrax in its mail at multiple locations. Scientology worked to insinuate that this was the work of Anonymous. However, many of us suspected this was a staged event conducted by Scientology’s Office of Special Affairs. The FBI got involved and nothing became of the matter.

Of course, Scientology never mentioned that it spent millions of dollars on private investigators to stalk, follow, and harass members of Anonymous, many of whom were high school and college students and lived at homes with their parents. Scientology PI’s got license plate numbers, took photos, and identified as many members of Anonymous as possible. Scientology attorneys then sent letters to the parents of Anons claiming their sons and daughters were members of a terrorist group. The fascist goal of Scientology in sending these letters was to terrify parents into demanding that their sons and daughters stop protesting Scientology’s human rights abuses and criminality.

In one threat letter sent to an Anon, Scientology attorney F. Wallace “Wally” Pope walked back the anthrax attack story and called it a “simulated anthrax attack.” Pope then demanded that the Anon cease and desist protesting. Pope characterized peaceful protest — which is a form of free speech — as “engaging in violent acts against the Church or its members.” How dramatic! Here is part of Wally’s letter:

Wallys.Letter

Wally Pope’s letter threatens to refer “the names of persons to State and Federal authorities” if these persons do not cease and desist protesting. This seems both extortionate and illogical; if Pope indeed had evidence of criminal activity then he should have immediately turned it over to the authorities. However, Pope had no evidence to turn over so he made a baseless threat in an attempt to muzzle free speech.

Even as Scientology screams persecution, it simultaneously engages in its work to destroy Psychiatry; destroy families through Disconnection; exploit Sea Org for slave labor; defend its use of child labor; destroy its own members financially; and engage in the rest of its psycho-terrorist cultic agenda.

Even now in 2017 Scientology continues to peddle its lie that Psychiatry was behind the Nazis and is also behind extremist Muslim terrorism:

Psychs.7.png

The Wall Street Journal failed to tell the whole story. In doing so, the WSJ did a disservice to all of the people who are bravely speaking out against the unabated horrors of the Church of Scientology. We hope the Wall Street Journal will correct this error and report the entire story.

Leah Remini’s A&E Show “Scientology and the Aftermath” Wins Emmy!

Congratulations to Leah Remini, Mike Rinder and their production team at A&E for their Emmy win for Scientology and the Aftermath.

This Emmy win vindicates Leah and Mike, their guests, and A&E for courageously telling the stories of those who have survived Scientology.

The Church of Scientology Doesn’t Like My IRS Petition

In a Tampa Bay Times story published today, staff writer Tracey McManus covered the details of two dueling Change.org petitions. The first petition is mine and calls for the IRS to open an investigation in Scientology’s tax exemption. I am asking people to please read, sign, and share my petition. The petition and details are here.

IRS.Header

In the TBT article, Scientology spokesperson Karin Pouw attacked both myself and my petition. This attack occurred because I am going directly to the source of Scientology’s ability to ply its evil trade: Scientology’s ill-gotten 1993 IRS tax exemption.

If the Scientology Cult loses its tax exemption, then it is game over for this brutal, dishonest, and greedy business that masquerades as a religion. Scientology simply does not merit or deserve First Amendment religious protections.

The other petition was created by a young Scientologist; it calls for fascist censorship equivalent to book burning:

No one is stopping Scientology’s right of Free Speech and yet this Scientologist is calling for Leah Remini’s constitutional right of Free Speech to be revoked. This is typical Scientology hypocrisy. Scientology demands its rights and yet it insists that no one should ever have the right to criticize Scientology.

Scientology has published extensive and vicious “Fair Game” smear websites on Leah Remini, her guests, A&E, and companies that sponsor A&E’s programming. Scientology is using its Free Speech to engage in an unchecked frenzy of hysteria, hatred, lies, and paranoia. And yet Scientology wants the Free Speech of Leah Remini, her guests, and A&E taken away. This glaring double standard never occurs to Scientologists.

Scientology is even using fake bots paid for with tax exempt dollars to spam Twitter with hate tweets:

Cultus.Hystericus
The time is now for the IRS to open an investigation into Scientology’s undeserved, unmerited, and ill-gotten tax exemption.

Scientology Feels the Heat from Leah Remini’s Show

Crisis ensues inside the Church of Scientology following the debut of season two of Leah Remini’s show Scientology and the Aftermath. As reported by Mike Rinder today, the Church’s poisonous Office of Special Affairs and its lackeys are sending a stream of e-mails urging Scientologists to write letters to Leah’s sponsors.

Long-time Los Angeles Scientologist Joel Philips — who ran Scientology hate websites for many years — is one of the OSA volunteers leading the charge. Here is text from Joel’s leaked e-mail with my comments:

Hello Friends,

I’m pretty sure you are aware of Leah Remini’s show on A & E attacking Scientology and further that is has been nominated for an Emmy in the “Best Informational or Series Special” category. Unbelievable.

Currently, we are helping on a campaign to counter and stop this insanity.

What is needed and wanted right now are letters (emails) to the *sponsors* of this show. We want them to back off on their support, and without their support, the show will likely be pulled.

If you would be willing to write an email, guidelines follow. The content needs to be original from you. Here are some points you can use to help you, but please put them in your own words.

Not to support religious hate and bigotry since this leads to violence against people and property.

Comment: The Church of Scientology is founded on bigotry, hatred, homophobia, racism, greed, and violence. Scientologists actually consider themselves to be a superior Master Race called Homo Novis. L. Ron Hubbard called for a genocide against all people in the world Scientology adjudged were 2.0 or below on Hubbard’s so-called Tone Scale:

b. This country has seen enough bigotry and hate speech. It does not need support and validation of it.

Comment: Scientology calls non-Scientologists homo saps, wogs, degraded beings, robots, Suppressive Persons, 1.1’s, raw meat, and other bigoted and hateful names. L. Ron Hubbard infamously used the “N” word in a letter to his  first wife and the Church of Scientology has never apologized for this. L. Ron Hubbard:

You shouldn’t be scrubbing the floor on your hands and knees. Get yourself a nigger; that’s what they’re born for.

The Church of Scientology needs to renounce its own genocidal Master Race doctrine, bigotry, racism, homophobia, and internally exploitative culture of greed, violence, and lies before it preaches anything to anyone.

Scientology appallingly uses child labor in its Sea Org and actually wants to lecture anyone about anything? Seriously. How about Scientology renounce the practice of, and stop using, child labor as a first step? These kids belong in school where they can get a proper education. They should not be scrubbing toilets and doing other manual labor for .50 cents an hour or less. These children are condemned to a bleak future as Scientology slave labor under the false label of “religious workers.”

c. Remini’s religious hate campaign has caused hundreds of threats of violence against Scientologists and our Churches.

Leah Remini is exposing the evils of Scientology and Scientologists call this a “hate campaign.” The public is experiencing moral outrage against Scientology’s brutality and inhumanity and Scientologists can’t have it. Thus, they engage in propaganda by redefinition: “We are being persecuted, we are victims,” they whine. Scientologists can dish it out but they can’t take it. Scientology practices Fair Game and yet the second they are exposed they claim to be victims. Scientology has produced no evidence of the claimed “hundreds of threats of violence against Scientologists and our Churches.”

Scientology leader David Miscavige is also missing in action. He is not leading nor is he speaking out. Rather, he is in hiding as he directs Scientology’s attacks on Leah Remini, Mike Rinder, and others connected with Leah’s show.

Emmy support of this hate and bigotry will be a dark day for the Emmys and for American entertainment.

Comment: A translation is in order. If A&E, Leah Remini, and Mike Rinder win an Emmy for Leah’s show then Scientology will have a stroke. This is pure jealousy. Tom Cruise doesn’t even have one Oscar and yet Leah may well win an Emmy. On a related note, Scientology’s $100 million dollar Scientology Media Productions here in Hollywood has produced exactly nothing. Scientology has movie and television stars, a world-class studio, and an unlimited budget to produce its own television show to rebut Leah. Given this embarrassment of riches, why has the Church of Scientology failed to produce its own television show and instead chosen to play the role of a victim? What are Scientology’s celebrities hiding from?

If what Remini says were true there would be a conviction, a judgment, a police report or something. There is not.

Comment: Not true Joel Philips. Why don’t you tell the real truth of how Scientology has a team of criminal defense lawyers ready to go the minute there is trouble? Why don’t you tell the truth of how Scientology uses threats of Disconnection and forces its victims to sign legal agreements to not sue the Church, sue Scientologists, or go to the police — and it makes them do so while being recorded. Spit it out Joel! You know how dirty it gets. L. Ron Hubbard himself made it a high crime for one Scientologist to report another to the civil authorities:

Reporting or threatening to report Scientology or Scientologists to civil authorities in an effort to suppress Scientology or Scientologists from practicing or receiving standard Scientology…

Delivering up the person of a Scientologist without justifiable defense
or lawful protest to the demands of civil or criminal law. — HCO POLICY LETTER OF 23 DECEMBER 1965RB, Revised 8 January 1991. SUPPRESSIVE ACTS,SUPPRESSION OF SCIENTOLOGY AND SCIENTOLOGISTS

In the YouTube video below, we see Church attorney Eliot Abelson videotaping a legal settlement with former Flag CO Debbie Cook. Debbie had to engage in this humiliating performance just to get a pittance in severance pay from the Church after 28 years of service. Debbie Cook later sued the Church. The matter was quickly settled after Debbie exposed the most vile things about David Miscavige and the Church. Indeed, the Church folded up like a cheap lawn chair after only one day of Debbie testifying.

Comment: When Alex Jentzsch was found dead, a criminal defense lawyer retained by Scientology was immediately put into action to protect the Church’s interests at LAPD and with the Los Angeles Coroners Office.

When New OTVIII Rex Fowler shot and killed his business partner in cold blood and then tried to kill himself, Scientology attorneys were on scene immediately charged with the task of keeping Scientology out of the story. Fowler’s wife rushed to the scene in an attempt to get Fowler’s briefcase as it contained OT materials. The Church needed to keep these materials secret; no matter that one of its OT VIII’s had committed first degree murder.

And of course, Scientology hired twenty-two lawyers in the Rathbun v. Miscavige case. I was there in the courtroom in Comal County, Texas and saw them all.

Joel Philips concludes by telling Scientologists to indiscriminately send out his bogus propaganda letter to Leah’s sponsors. Joel’s e-mail is shown below should readers care to share their thoughts with him:

Just start your email with Dear Sirs. Don’t worry about the particular sponsor. You will send your email to admin@we-stand.org <mailto:admin@we-stand.org> and they will get it to the right recipient. You also need to send a bcc to joelinla@earthlink.net<mailto:joelinla@earthlink.net>
