This is an absolute outrage. Scientologist and California lawyer Leigh Dundas publicly told her fellow Trump supporters the day before the insurrection of January 6th, 2021 that they were well within their rights to hang or shoot American turncoats. She said this in a speech in Washington DC (scroll down to see the video clip).
For Dundas, an attorney, to give what can be construed as legal advice in which she says it is a lawful right to murder those she and her ilk deem “turncoats” is a serious violation of US law and the rules of professional conduct. Dundas is advocating murder. Dundas has no right to call for murdering people who disagree with her political views. She has crossed a very dangerous line. Scientology leader David Miscavige has done nothing to reign in this Scientologist who was one of the parties inciting violence in Washington DC during the insurrection.
The federal criminal code (18 USC 373) makes it a crime to solicit, command, induce or “endeavor to persuade” another person to commit a felony that includes the threat or use of physical force. Simply put, it is a crime to persuade another person, or a mob of several thousand, to commit a violent felony…
The federal criminal code makes it a crime for “two or more persons … to oppose by force the authority [of the United States] or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States” (18 USC 2384). Leigh Dundas said that she and her fellow insurrectionists were entitled to take “turncoats” out back and shoot or hang them. Dundas never mentioned due process or a military tribunal. In any case, Dundas and her criminal cohorts are not a legally-constituted military tribunal. Rather, they are criminal insurrectionists being rounded up and arrested by the FBI.
We are not seeking to cancel a conservative voice as you allege. Rather, we want to see Leigh Dundas arrested, tried, convicted, and imprisoned for her part in a conspiracy to incite violence and insurrection that resulted in five deaths. She has blood on her hands.
