Scientology Bigot Bob Pace of Commercial Real Estate Inspectors in Montrose, California

Scientologist Bob Pace of Commercial Real Estate Inspectors in Montrose, California is a home inspector. In the course of his professional work, he inspected the home of Leah Remini.

After Leah left the Church and began speaking out against its abuses, Scientology bigot Bob Pace worked with Scientology’s Office of Special Affairs to make a hate video in which he attacked Leah Remini. This is Scientology Fair Game at work, and, it is financed by 501(c) tax exempt dollars. These OSA hate videos are yet another reason why Scientology’s tax exemption must be revoked: US taxpayers should not be forced to subsidize Scientology’s malicious Fair Game.

As reported by Tony Ortega, “Bob Pace describes his encounter with Leah as a home inspector trying to convince her that a hairline crack in the wall of her house is nothing to worry about, and her rude suggestions that he’s wrong about it.” In the Scientology hate video he made, Bob Pace says of Leah Remini:

Hairline cracks are typical, and I said this is a hairline crack and it just needs a minor repair, and then just observe it. She didn’t like that answer. She said, “No that’s a structural crack.” Which kind of took me back. It was a rather forceful communication and not a pleasant one and I said, “This is my profession. This is what I do. That is a hairline crack. That is not a concern.” The volume went up. She got more upset. And I realized at that moment that I’ve, in the ten thousand inspections I’ve dealt with I probably dealt with maybe three people that I would consider to be truly…. I don’t know another word other than insane.

Seriously? Bob Pace publicly attacked a client as insane? That is an egregious breach of professional ethics. Bob Pace is obviously a 1.1 anti-social Suppressive Person.

As far as I can determine from his website, Bob Pace is not a structural engineer. As such, he can only perform noninvasive home inspections. Bob Pace arguing with Leah that a crack was a hairline crack and not structural crack may have violated California Code as it relates to home inspectors:

(a) Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to allow home inspectors who are not registered engineers to perform any analysis of the systems, components, or structural integrity of a dwelling that would constitute the practice of civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering, or to exempt a home inspector from Chapter 3 (commencing with Section 5500), Chapter 7 (commencing with Section 6700), Chapter 9 (commencing with Section 7000), or Chapter 14 (commencing with Section 8500) of Division 3.

Absent having a registered structural engineer perform an inspection of the crack in question, Bob Pace cannot state with any certainty that the crack in question was not structural. What Bob Pace expressed was his opinion and did not reflect the expert analysis of a structural engineer. Furthermore, Bob Pace produced no photographic or other evidence. Therefore his story is both unsubstantiated and unprofessional.

If anything is insane here it is having a home inspector pretend to be an expert in structural engineering.

Due to liability concerns, no reputable construction firm in the world would ever trust a mere home inspector to determine if a crack was a hairline crack or a structural problem — and this is particularly so if the client expresses serious concerns. This is where professionals hire degreed and certified experts.

Please take note of Bob Pace’s utter lack of professionalism. What a real professional would have done to satisfy a client about her serious and legitimate concern would be to bring in a structural engineer. This is Leah’s home and she is concerned about the safety of her family. And yet, true to form, the Scientology hate video attacked Leah rather than focusing on Bob Pace’s lack of professionalism and his failure to bring in a structural engineer to address the client’s concern.

Bob Pace of Commercial Real Estate Inspectors was quite willing to violate professional ethics by invading the privacy of a client in order to attack her in a Scientology hate video. This is appalling conduct and yet it is to be expected of Scientologists as Scientology cult members practice Fair Game against those who publicly expose the human rights abuses, lies, and greed of the Church of Scientology.

This blog post is intended to simply make the public aware of Bob Pace and his willingness to engage in a malicious public character attack against a client who paid him for his services and expected privacy.

Bob Pace owes Leah Remini an apology for his unprofessional and bigoted conduct.

  1. As has been done since Ron first popped up with his ” religion ” Scientology goes about sowing destruction in everything it pretends to despise but in actuality practices and ramps up the abuse to try and stop Leah in her tracks. I say cult of dm you will not stop a force that Leah is. Your train has jumped the tracks and we will never stop sounding the alarm about the farce of a spiritual religion. Scientology is one enormous Lie. Rotten from the top to the bottom. Thank you Jeff, this info so important. 💛
